Awwwwwwwwwwww!

Roses! And chocolates! On Valentine's Day! Not so unusual, you're thinking.... well, it is for MY guy. He is not the romantic type. But he sent me the most beautiful bouquet of red roses today, and some high-quality chocolates (I'm not picky at all, but even I can taste the difference, these are expensive ones!)

I had to call and wake him up to thank him. Now I am the envy of the other gals (and gay men) in the office :) Only one other person has gotten flowers so far - of course, most people here have been married forever and they probably don't do the whole send-flowers-to-work thing anymore. I say it can never get old. I used to cry on Valentine's Day because "everyone else" got flowers but me. Nevermind that it was only a handful of people out of an entire office! To me, it was "everyone else."

I truly wasn't expecting him to do anything special today - if you are, by chance, reading this, Mr. Tough Guy - THANK YOU! I love you!!!!
