Yay, I applied for theatrical_muse this morning. I'd been waiting and waiting and waiting for Ani to become available, and the other day I was about to request to be waitlisted when I saw that he'd either dropped out or been kicked out for inactivity. Though it really hasn't been THAT long since he posted... I'm now anxiously watching my email hoping I don't get a "whoops, sorry, he was removed from the list in error, you can't have him." Or, worse: "your app sucks, go away." Ah well, if I don't get in, I'll still keep doing libraryofwinds - that's a fun one, and NO activity requirements - also no claims list; there can be 25 Anakins posting there for all they care.

One of these days I'll write something that's not Star Wars related. Ha! Star Wars is the only fandom I feel comfortable enough with. Still, there are sooooooo many other writers out there more talented than me - I just comfort myself with "you're not a REAL writer, anyway, and it's fun so that's what's important!"

Lemme know when you get accepted! And yes, I'm pretty sure it will be a "when" rather than an "if" since they basically just want to make sure you've read all the community rules and can write semi-coherently. But I went through the exact same thing when I applied - the endless checking of email, the psyching myself up for (what I felt would be) the inevitable rejection, since I win at getting rejected for stuff ordinarily. You'll do fine, I know it! (Just keep your fingers crossed that they don't misplace your application email, like they did mine. *facepalm*)

And I know what you mean with not being able to write anything not related to SW. I keep telling myself, "One of these days I'll write something for Six Feet Under," and then I go happily back to my SW fic. XD

So it's been a week - I pestered the movies mod and he/she doesn't have internet access currently. They can still reply to email, though, so... blackberry maybe? Anyhoo, they said they did get my app and they'd approve it as soon as they had access. So YAY I'm assuming that means I'm in! Will just have to be patient about actually GETTING in and starting. Hehe

Sheesh, it seems like there's always something - if they haven't lost your app, they don't have internet access. Heh. But I shouldn't be so negative, that's AWESOME!! Welcome to the insanity, LOL. I look forward to roleplaying with you in an officially unofficial capacity! ;)
