One True Pairing:
Anakin/Palpatine. If that squicks you, you might want to stop reading this now. Just know that I too was once like you before I turned to the dark side!

One True Threesome:
Don't have one.

One True Foursome:
...I have yet to see anyone who has one of these.

Canon Ship:
I'm going with Han/Leia here, though I do like Anakin/Padme.

"Not canon but should be" pairing:
Anakin/Palpatine. Come on, you know what "seduced by the dark side" really means. Hee!

"If this happened I'd stab my eyes out with a spork" pairing:
Must.Resist.Urge.To.Write.Ani/Obi.Here.
Um... Qui-Gon/Jar Jar. *shudders*

"I'm one sick bastard for liking this" pairing:
Anakin/Palpatine. At least, that's what many of the more "mainstream" Star Wars fans would say. It's kinda fun to fill out Star Wars friending memes with this pairing splashed all over your thing and watch people cringe. I used to hide my shipping preference for that reason, but now - eh, fuck it. Why should I lie?

I dabble a little in:
Qui-Gon/Obi-Wan. It's one of those pairings I don't feel I do justice to, but feel compelled to write occasionally.

"It's like a car crash and I love it" pairing:
Anakin/Palpatine fits here, I think. Except I prefer to sidestep the whole car crash part.

"Tickles my fancy but not sold quite yet" pairing:
Nothing comes to mind.

"Makes no canon sense but I enjoy it" pairing:
Hmmm. Obi-Wan/Maul? I've read just a few of those and liked them so I guess that fits.

"I think it can work" pairing:
I'll go with Obi-Wan/Padme here. I really wish I could like this pairing, it would fit so nicely with Anakin/Palpatine... *whistles innocently in gizzi1213's direction*

"Rox my sox" pairing:
Anakin/Palpatine. Duh!

"Everyone else loves it but I just don't feel it" pairing:
Anakin/Obi-Wan. I've explained my (admittedly dumb) reasons to some of you... this pairing just makes me want to gouge my eyes out with a fork. But there's so much of it out there I feel like I should make another attempt to like it. *sigh*

"When all is said and done" pairing:
Anakin/Palpatine!

"Guilty Pleasure" ship:
Anakin/Palpatine yet again? I don't really feel guilty about it anymore though. Especially the more I find that others not only see its merit and enjoy it, but actually like the stuff I write.

"I can't believe I read it and liked it" ship
I'm generally not a big fan of incest... but I read an intriguing Vader/Leia once that I really really liked. It wasn't explicit at all. There was just enough.

Favorite "Older/Younger" ship:
Anakin/Palpatine! Yay pervy old man sex.

"I could never abandon you" ship:
Anakin/Palpatine. And I miss the people who have abandoned it. But I relish the opportunity to "turn" new people to the dark side. *waves to jedi_em*

Favorite Devotion ship:
Do I need to say it? Hehehe. Anakin/Palpatine, though Anakin/Padme fits well here too.

Favorite Never-met ship:
Don't have one.

Favorite Abuse ship:
Nothing fits here, unless you count Palpatine's manipulations of Anakin as abuse.

Favorite Rape ship:
Uh... not so much into this. Though Anakin/Palpatine roleplay rape is great fun. (roleplay only, so it's actually consensual and doesn't really fit here)

Favorite Pervy ship:
Anakin/Palpatine, of course!

Favorite Crack ship:
This doesn't really count, but I really liked the Palpatine/Palpatine action in my crack!RPG a couple years ago. (with an IC version and an OOC version) I agree with Jax, there's not enough crack in this fandom anymore.

Favorite Dominance Battle:
Anakin/Palpatine. You would think that Palpatine controls everything, but that's what's so fun - perhaps he doesn't, because he *gasp!* has fallen in luuuuuurve.

My version of Palpatine is admittedly too fluffy and unrealistic, thanks to having my OOC!Palpy from RP in my head. But so what? I'm not claiming that my version is canon or anything.

Heh. They don't like it because Palpy's an old man and they find it creepy. Somehow, it's more acceptable when the old man is Qui-Gon... heheh, Liam Neeson IS hawt though.

Palpy (ie Ian McDiarmid) is totally hot in an older man sort of way. I mean, not conventionally fuckable like say, Ewan McGregor or Hayden Christensen, but he's got gorgeous eyes and a kind smile.

Ian's VOICE is his sexiest asset, really. I could listen to it for hours. I can't find that one interview I used to listen to, I think it's not there anymore. *cries* But yeah in that "celebrities you would do" meme I had to add him to the "would do with persuasion" category.

And with Palpatine, the evile!ness makes him sexy too >.>

It makes sense that you wouldn't like them for that reason. And I'm guilty of conveniently setting my stories before Padme's really in the picture (besides Anakin fantasizing about her every day or whatever) which... yeah, sometimes puts him in his teens. Kinda squicky for some people.

I miss pen_and_umbra! (Heh, can you miss someone you never even knew?) I only discovered her via the JN retrospectives. I wish she were still writing Star Wars fic.

Anyhow, I love your answers. :) And yes, Ani/Palp is just too effing enjoyable to deny. I like the corruption and seduction inherent in their pairing, both slash and gen, to be honest. Very intriguing and full of such infinitely explorable depth. Mmmm mmm good.
