Just a quickie

I've got way too much to do still before Christmas, this is one time I'm glad my Avon order this week was pretty small...

Maybe I'll post "for real" on Christmas Eve day as I'm off work that day.

In short, I would just like to say I'm still insanely busy at work (I worked 19.25 hours in one day! Woohoo! Paid for it the next day though) and with the holidays I might not catch up 'til early next year. Oh well. I get the important stuff done, anyway.

I am also a little more motivated now that I finally received a raise - woohoo! First one in 2 years. I got a pretty decent one; my boss likes me. Some others in the company are upset about their raises, I guess they figure it's been so long since they got one that they should get double or something.... and who knows if we'll have this money available again next year or not. Our parent company is stingy about raises.

so, back to work I go.... happy holidays!

Silly Stad, you listen to one of my two favorite albums ever and you botch the title, how dare you! Why CAN'T we, not DON'T we. Blame it on the fact that it's a long enough frikkin title and those 19.25 hrs - you beat my 14 hr shift by a long shot. But can you top 65.5 for a week - ha, it's a competition now!

I'm listening to a nice sweet program of a few Cure songs from the great "KISS ME KISS ME KISS ME" album, which I could shorten to the "KKK" album and make people think I'm a bigot. I'll be posting some amazing lyrics of it on the board.

And no, 65.5 hours is hard to top, I think I've done 60 before.... at one job.... when I had 3 jobs it was a little easier to get there :)

No, actually, it's just because when you delete icons, LJ inserts your default in their place. I've had this default much longer than I usually keep them, though - it was a bday present from fialleril and I never get tired of it!
