lumy12I might be getting a roommate!
It seems very possible at the moment but things can change so I won't know for sure for a few weeks, but my bro is in need of a place to crash while in limbo between his apartment and (hopefully) house.
He used to be my most faithful journal reader here, but lately I'm not so sure - no commentary? (come on, Stad!)
I've always said my brother is probably the only person I could comfortably cohabitate with for an extended period of time. We are unusual siblings in that we got along great growing up - I can only remember one real fight and I believe we were mad at each other for only an hour before making up. And now we have opposite work schedules, so we'd both have plenty of alone time and wouldn't be getting in each other's hair all the time. And I don't feel like there would be the "burden to entertain" when we are home at the same time. Actually, I've really only had a problem with that once (the last time I had real roommates - 9 years ago!) - now that everyone is "old" we all have our own stuff to do and we can understand each other's moodiness at times and not take it so personally. Wait, age can't be the reason behind that, the person I'm thinking of was like 42 at the time. It was just a psychotic situation, I guess. Nevermind.
Anyway it will be fun having him around, we can leave notes for each other and stuff. And I want to go house-hunting with him - fun!!!! But that probably won't happen cuz he'll be going during the day while I'm at work. Darn.
