Life Event Overload
May. 5th, 2005 12:30 pmOkay, I'm not REALLY that overloaded, I just like that phrase since I saw it in the paper recently, describing Kevin Federline's current state.
I need a vacation to catch up from my vacation!
My brother just moved in. My boyfriend brought his stuff down here for his show on Saturday - usually stashed in one area that now belongs to my bro, now in several areas only semi-out of the way. My dad is laying down a new floor in the dining area, and that won't be completed until next week, so all the stuff that was there has been scattered around the house wherever it will fit. The house is FULL of stuff, except for this large dining area that has absolutely nothing on it. Also had to make way for Cable Guy to hook up cable in my bedroom, so the stuff on that wall was displaced. I have a new computer that still needs some setup, the old computer to transfer files from, and an ipod waiting to have songs loaded on it.
I'm almost caught up on my soap now, have barely made a dent in the mountains of newspapers and mail that piled up for the 4 days I was gone, I haven't cleaned the house in 2 weeks, Mom is coming over Sunday and the house will not be in order by then, but oh well, she'll understand... I had another baseball game to go to this week, and it happened to be on Avon day, so I'm behind in my deliveries... will I ever have time to relax again?
The only thing I'm caught up on is email. Except for the ones on my prodigy address that got loaded onto the old computer, but there weren't any personal ones, I don't think.
Oh yes - and Gimpy Cat has returned. Poor Bailey is hobbling around on 3 legs again. Maybe I should have kept giving him his joint supplement... I'm giving it to him now and if he doesn't improve in the next week I will take him in to the vet, probably drop another $200 again. Poor little guy, I hope he's not in constant pain. He seems to be eating and sleeping normally, he still jumps too - just doesn't use his left front paw. I wonder if he has arthritis?
