Nerd Alert
Jun. 13th, 2005 08:52 amI'm still hopelessly obsessed with Star Wars. And my bro, bless his soul, has fed this obsession by purchasing the Revenge of the Sith video game! Woohoo! We played it last night and I sure did a good job of making Anakin look like a yutz.
I'm used to my Gameboy Advance and its limited buttons. PS2 has like 5 times as many buttons. My basic strategy is to just hit a bunch of buttons and hope they make me do cool stuff. But I'm sure I'll get better with practice, and perhaps studying the more complicated moves a bit. The game has a duel option too so you can practice your fighting SKILLZ against the computer or another player.
Alas, A. is here so I didn't get to see the movie again this weekend. I did watch the bonus dvd that comes with the soundtrack again (it's really cool! It's a "musical journey" through all 6 movies). What the hell is wrong with me??? I mean, this is fun and all, but a normal girl would not be lamenting the fact that her bf's in town because it keeps her from seeing a damn movie she's already seen 4 times. What a psycho.
I know I owe some of you people emails too - I have been neglecting my email again... and now it's a daunting task going through my inbox.... but I will get to you eventually, I promise! Bear with me. This phase can't last forever.
I am more focused on getting necessary things done than I was a couple weeks ago, so that's good. It's Avon week so I won't have time to play the game very much :( but it's not going anywhere, I'll just remind myself of that. And I'll see SW again on Friday night unless I need to do deliveries (will try to avoid that).
