A girl at work is getting a kitten! She asked me for some cat advice, we chatted for a few minutes and then she did it - she mentioned that the lady has 2 more kittens to find homes for. Said she's really upset because she can't find anyone to take them. (the kittens are already 6 months old... kittens are ready to be placed in homes when they're 6-8 weeks of age, so she must have been looking for awhile) I called A. and asked him if I should take them and of course he said "Nooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!" Ha ha. I wonder what you guys think though?

EDIT: Oh yeah. Some of you don't know how many cats I have. DUH, I totally forgot to include that very important info here. I currently have 4 fabulous felines.

And I really do have a Sith cat! His name is Anakin - he is so-named because I got him 2 years ago, when AotC was on HBO all the time. I had already named his sister and was racking my brain trying to think of a good name for him, and it just hit me while watching Clones.

Originally I thought it was a good name just because he's mostly black (he has a little bit of white on his belly), but he grew up into a power-hungry dominating cat so the name fits :)

OMG I just got a kitten about 2 months ago & named him Ani!! BTW I did your song poll but I didn't know how to tag people. If you want let me know how that would be cool, otherwise I will figure it out later. :D Sleeping in tomorrow YAY!!
I finished HBP yesterday & listened to the first HP book today but had already owned the movie so knew what was happening. I'll talk to you tomorrow. Have a good day!!

That's so cool we both have Anakin cats! I call mine "Ani" a lot too. And when feeling goofy, "Ani-banani" hehehe

For the tagging - just pick 5 friends and tell them they have to do it in their own journals. I haven't looked at your userinfo lately but I think you had more friends than me so that should be no prob? The thingie says "randomly" but I picked people I thought might actually DO it.

Do you know how to get the little blue/purple LJ head thingie to show up with a link to the person's journal? I didn't know that 'til like, maybe a few weeks ago, now I do it all the time :)

Just type [lj user="whatever the name is"] but instead of the brackets use the triangular brackets (I didn't know how else to get the text to show on here). The brackets on the comma and period keys, if your keyboard is like mine. It works for communities too. If you mess up and type the wrong name you'll get a "bad LJ tag" message. You can practice on here if you want before you put anything on your journal for the world to see :)

I was just flipping channels thinking about it & it came to me that rich text has a tool bar so I went there & sure enought it has that little head on the tool bar, Click on that & just type in the user name.
Yours is good too, I just realised your way is the exact way I got the username of my icon makers to link to their lj when you click on the username. If you go to my lj & click on my user icons you will see.
Thanks so much for the help, I figured if you told me how you did it I would also figure it out, sometime the rich text doesn't work right any way.

Yeah, at first the only way I could do it was rich text, but if you're replying you can't use rich text (unless I just don't know how to do it?) plus yeah, to give credit for icons, you can't use rich text :)

NO, of course you don't want to have another cat. Think about other people in the house, namely your four other cats who would absolutely vote 'HELL NO, my psycho owner, please stop getting any more of us, we all hate each other as it is'. Think about your brother, who is probably being nice to the cats but is driven nuts by them, in secret. But most of all, imagine if you had an extremely lovable, gentle, kind, fun-loving, astronomically brilliant boyfriend who stayed over there, every once in a while...what would he think? No, I'm just asking, totally anonymously.

1) My cats all LOVE each other. They all play together and sleep together and groom each other and they get along JUST FINE. No bullies in this bunch. Heh. (okay, my nose just grew)
