Totally cheating on that header. It's the only one I could think of that mentions marriage though.

Quick summary of the trip...

Highlights:
- A. was truly adorable in his tux. I am going to post a pic of him as soon as I get 'em uploaded - and if he doesn't like it, that's too bad, it's what he deserves for not reading my LJ!

- A.'s mom, who has been battling bone cancer for over 2 years now, was not feeling very well on Friday and was not planning on coming even though she really really wanted to (is friends with the bride, plus wanted to see her boy all dressed up)... well, she made it, A.'s sister brought her in just after the ceremony ended and it was great to see her up and about. When A. came back from getting pictures done, and he saw her, they both started crying. Then sister started crying. Then I started crying. Awww!

- A.'s toast was hilarious, it was more of a roast. Made everyone laugh. I was so glad, he had been nervous about it.

- Starbucks' Green Tea frappuccino is my new favorite drink there. Yum!!!

- The food was excellent all weekend. I think I gained 10 pounds.

- Can you say "Open bar"???? Yeah!!!

Lowlights:
- Who in the heck has an outdoor wedding in Las Vegas in August??? It was hot - but we went inside for the reception so then it was all good

- Who in the heck doesn't use air conditioning in the summer when living in Las Vegas? A., that's who. I forgot he's a cheapskate about air. I made him turn it on, though. Otherwise I wouldn't have been able to sleep. Very non-conducive to cuddling or any kind of human contact. He has a roommate too - roommate doesn't seem to mind either. They just walk around in their underwear all the time. How gay.

- Ummm, oops, forgot a turn on the way back.... heh.... was daydreaming or something. Only cost me 15 minutes though.

- No RotS all weekend. *sniff*

Oh yeah, just remember RotS comes out Nov 1, not the same as the big screen but you can pause on the part where Anakin has no shirt on & stare at it all day. If you like Buffy the Vampire Slayer it also comes out all 7 seasons in a set & I think it is only going to be around $140. For once it paid off to wait to buy a DVD set.

Yeah I know, I want to throw a party and invite all my LJ peeps who are Anakin-obsessed (I know no one else in real-life, unfortunately, who adores him as much as I) to come watch it! I wish I could do that.

I want to get the box set though, cuz I only have Phantom and Clones on VHS. I figured I'd just wait to get the whole trilogy when it comes out. So I might be waiting an extra week cuz I think the release date for the set is still 11/8? Last I heard.

I never got into Buffy... $140? Dang...

That's the outside temperature. The third floor is often a good 10 to 15 degrees warmer. It's been nice and cool the last few days. I think it got up to about 75 today. Down into the 50's again this overnight. Another night of lovely sleeping weather. The next three days are supposed to be GORGEOUS, highs of about 85 each day and no rain!

It's been HOT here. No fair. Between 105 and 110. And ohhhh the humidity! (hee, okay, I won't go there)

We've actually had a very mild summer. I think we've had only 1, maybe 2, days over 100 degrees this summer. That's unusual for us, we usually get a week or so of 95 - 100+ temps in July or August, and we haven't this year. And it's been very WET this year. Lots of rain. Good for the reservoirs, good for the growing thing, even if my sinuses don't care for all that humidity. My hair likes it though. **shrugs**

I'm hot. Blech. It's supposed to be 109 today. Finally next week the forecast is "chance of rain" for a few days, which most likely means we still won't get any, but I can at least hope!

And I went to bed around 11, got up at 5:30. Even *I* say that is "doin it rong." I couldn't fall back asleep, though! Go figure! (you'd think I'd be getting lots done today but so far I haven't really)

I haven't been very productive today in the chores department. So far I've hit the bank, went to a book sale, had lunch, and have been playing online. No real chores in there at all.

I will have to go get a few things done sooner or later. And, since I think this is the last reply I have to respond to at the moment, maybe I'll go do some productive things now.
