With the voting at 71.4% yes and 28.6% no, I just HAD to go see Star Wars again. Many of you didn't vote, shame on you! Well that's okay, it was only a couple days' notice and all.

I put 85 miles on my car today to go give George Lucas more money. And I would NOT have gotten lost, except stupid Mapquest messed up the last direction. I mean, really now, when it says "make a U-turn" - does that not mean that what you're going for is on your LEFT? That's what I would assume anyway. (I know, we Americans are backwards that way to some of you... but try to picture it reversed then!) So I passed it, it was on the right. Hidden in the back of a strip mall.

I had time to go to Target beforehand, it was right next door. I found a wonderful headband for my Padme costume! It doesn't look exactly the same, of course - it's actually quite different. It's glittery aqua flowers, and it's for a little girl so it will probably give me a headache, but ah, that's the price we pay for beauty...

I of course enjoyed the movie, but this was the most scratched-up print I've seen yet. I think I'm done seeing it now. Really. I'll wait for the nice perfect dvd. And I really can live without seeing the Fantastic Four preview EVER AGAIN. This print had TWO FF trailers on it, back to back! One was all scratched and shitty-looking, the other was decent. I wonder if someone was instructed to replace the bad one with the good one and they just messed up or decided to be lazy. Last week was SO NICE, it had NO TRAILERS on it. They took them all off and just BAM! started the movie, it was awesome!

- I got a stuffed catnip toy in the mail today, it was a freebie from renewing a mag subscription... and guess who has taken it over as his own. But of course, it's the dominant male, the ANAKIN cat! He was going nuts rolling around with it and flipping it in the air and stuff. I took it away from him to show the other cats who were gathering around all curious... and he attacked them, poor things! I'm sure I heard him growl, "You will not take her from me!" Hee hee.

Off I go to watch Phantom Menace while I get stuff done... that is, it's going to be "background noise" - I don't know if I'll ever be able to do that with Sith... RotS and RotJ are like, "you must WATCH me and not just LISTEN as BACKGROUND NOISE!"

Dang, this entry is getting long. Sorry to fill up your f-list, guys.

One more thing - Stad, my lovely-but-absent padawan wanted me to tell you that she heard Soul Meets Body :)

LOL...had to laugh at the catnip bit. When I was looking for poor neglected Gryff's b-day presents, while on the site I found the image of catnip, I read there that it makes some cats aggressive. As if your Anakin needed any help in that area!

The boys seem more drawn to catnip than the girls. For whatever reason! Ah, soon you'll be "meeting" little Gryffin. He was still at his old mommy's house at this time. I SHOULD HAVE TAKEN HIS BROTHER TOO. I kick myself wondering what happened to that cat.

Yeah, shame on me! At the time they were only giving away one, though. They said they had only wanted one to begin with but the people had talked them into taking two. Later on they called me and asked if I would take the other one too - WHY DIDN'T I JUST SAY YES?? Guh. :(
