The Yankees are history, and the Angels have won Game 1 of the ALCS on no sleep, awesome!   sleuthgirl27 was so upset about her Yankees losing last night that she called in sick at work today.  Either that, or she was just ignoring me, even though I TOTALLY was not gloating at ALL.  I would never do that.  I'm too sweet and nice *cough*.

Yankees have still won more series than any other team in history. I have to point that out, even if I'm nominally a Mets fan.

Yes, but they haven't won since the Dbacks beat them in 2001! Bwahahahahaha!

Ohhh I used to hate the Mets. It was my Steve who didn't steal the homerun away from... some Mets shmuck, Todd someone? don't remember... back in 1999, when we won the division but failed to advance. My first baseball heartbreak!

I likely saw that game because I usually watch the playoffs if either NY team is in them, but I don't remember it at all.

I'm glad I'm forgiven for not remembering 7 years ago something I wasn't even aware I would ever need to remember. Especially since I don't think I can remember 7 days ago!
