lumy12I have officially joined the new millennium - I successfully burned a CD!
Am listening to it while I impatiently wait for my reports to run. I just love coming in early to finish payroll only to wait around while the system takes its sweet time. It's even more lovely after coming in Saturday to avoid having to come in so early on a Monday, only to discover that the reports are messed up which means the nightly cycle probably isn't finished running, which in turn means the computer chick lied when I specifically asked her about this. *sigh* Oh well, I still get paid for showing up. And I did take a nap yesterday afternoon, so getting up at 4:30am wasn't as bad as it could have been.
YES my report finished, I checked one previously-screwed-up thing and it's now fine, so I'm confident things will go smoothly now. Woohoo! I'll do my f-list check later :)

And the bright side is that things will be fixed now, instead of being left for a time when they could cause a real problem. :)

Haha... you almost hit it right on the head. lol I like a lot of stuff, but Coldplay's style just misses me, somehow. Though "Speed of Sound" was an awesome song, and I was thinking of checking out the rest of the disc because it appealed to me more than some of their older material. :)

To start - Mushroom soup, with a warm bread roll
Main course - vegetarian lasagne, served with potato fritters (because they're really yummy!)
Dessert - home made (by me) peach crumble, with her favourite ice cream - ben and jerry's cookie dough

Date: 2005-10-24 05:25 pm (UTC)I did cook for my bro last night though and he liked it. I would hardly call it cooking as nothing was from scratch, but it did involve more than boiling water and it did NOT involve the microwave.
If you have any leftovers send them my way and I'll see how good you did! (I think you can do it through LJ by hitting the "gift" button, yeah....)
