"I'm in agony"

lumy12I'm a wreck.
I STILL DON'T HAVE MY HALLOWEEN COSTUME.
It was mailed late Monday so it probably went out Tuesday, priority mail (2-3 day delivery), I should have it by tomorrow I HOPE. But tomorrow is the last day it can come before Halloween (coming to work address and they don't deliver on weekends)
I can't concentrate on work, each day this week I've been stalking the mail to see if it's arrived yet and always NO. Now I'm wondering how I'm going to live through a whole 'nother day of waiting (mail came today and it wasn't there). A couple people are making me feel like an idiot for trusting someone who is only an LJ friend, not a RL friend. I still have faith that she sent the dress, I just wish it had been sent last week at least! *sigh* Oh well, I will prove them wrong when it gets here and it's gorgeous (right Kate? ;)
If it doesn't come tomorrow I wonder if I can pick it up at the post office somehow? I don't think they let you just stroll in there and pick up mail that has not yet been delivered though. Especially since it's a business address not my home address. At the time that just seemed easier than getting the note on my door and having to wait a day to go to the post office and pick it up.
AAAARGH. Just shoot me now. I'm dwelling on this waaaaaaaay too much. If it arrives on Monday I can still change into it at work and just PRAY it doesn't need any last-minute alterations. But that would really suck - I want to be Padme ALL DAY on Monday.
How can I stop obsessing about this? UGHHHHHH!
