lumy12I am really jonesing for Star Wars now. Major withdrawal symptoms. I can FINALLY watch my RotS dvd tomorrow, uninterrupted (will ignore the phone). And next Friday the 11th is Watch-Star-Wars-All-Day day! (for me, at least!) I'll get up at my usual time and read the paper/have my morning coffee, then it's on to Episode I, allllll the way through VI. You all are invited, just show up at my house no later than 8am, 'k? 'k. Preferably with munchies.
And I'm also excited for Harry Potter Goblet of Fire!!! I want to re-read all the books but want to start with Book 1 and my friend still has it, I'm seeing her tonight so maybe she'll be done with it...
There's a character up for adoption at HiH who looks intriguing. I haven't ventured into the RP world over there because:
a) I don't know how the heck to play
b) I'm afraid my HP knowledge is lacking, due to my horrible memory and only having read the books once. I suppose I could hit up Wikipedia if necessary though...
c) This guy is a 5th year, I think I'd be better off doing a 1st year until I get everything figured out? Like, if I use the wrong spell or something, it would be because I'm an ignorant 1st year who doesn't know anything, as opposed to a really cool 5th-year.
Eh - someone will probably grab him before I even get up the guts to talk to the "birth mother." But if I come back from my friend's and he's still available I will just GO FOR IT. If he's not, I'll dream up a 1st year boy instead (boys earn you extra points).

tigersalamander says I HAVE to name him Crookshanks because he is orange. (that's Hermione's cat in Harry Potter) But that's not a very appealing name to me. Oh well, something will come to me!

I lived in a geek flat, we all played Knights of the Old Republic and enjoyed the films, so my flattie had a SW themed b'day. She made an Ewok costume for her nephew and we painted another bald flattie green and added yoda ears. It was marvelous!
Heh i'm the same mixing up quotes and the like, and I've been a fan since i was 4!!Although thinking u were Princess Leia was pretty silly - it was kinda obvious u weren't!
