"Maybe you can help me with some deadbeats that owe me a lot of money"

Good old Watto. Though I'm not really thinking of deadbeats, just people who for whatever reason owe me money for Avon stuff and either can't pay for it 'til after Christmas or haven't returned my calls yet to even let me know what their deal is. It was bothering me, until last weekend, when I realized it really doesn't matter. A.'s money problems are so much worse than mine, and HE is not even worried about it because he's so focused on holding his family together. Why worry about money? It comes and goes. As long as my bills are paid (and they will be) I can be patient with people.

Why am I continuing to stay up 'til midnight or later and not be tired? It's baffling. (I wake up at 6-ish)

Next week should be interesting. Tight payroll, for one. Also a huge order to get out in just a couple days, last-minute Christmas stuff to take care of, baking (oh yes, I'm going to do STAR WARS gingerbread cookies, bwahahaha!), and in RP-land both games I'm in are having parties I don't want to miss. At omg_lightsaber, OOC!Obi-Wan is having a holiday party that everyone is invited to. Thank goodness, otherwise he'd never invite my poor sweet innocent little Palpy *pets* I'm not sure if people are doing any Plots of Doom there but it will be fun seeing how the Secret Santa stuff plays out. I really didn't intend for him to be so angsty so soon, but now I'm happy to roll with it. He's only allowed to see Anakin now with Obi's supervision, so scenes with the three of them should be tension-filled and fun to play! At hihnow_playing the date is only October 27th (the day only changes on Mondays and Fridays :) so this is a Halloween Ball - and my little Maxie didn't want to go at first but now he's all psyched about his ferret pirate costume. And *I'm* psyched because I hear someone's spiking the punch, and I so plan on having him get drunk for the first time in his life (he's 11). Maybe he can mess up some threads of high drama, hahaha! Or at least run into the older girl he has a crush on and make a total ass of himself.

I'm pondering doing filters like I know some of you guys do. Real-life, RP, Star Wars, Harry Potter... the only thing is I like to keep everything as open as possible because I do have non-LJ-ers who read this. Other thing is, I really don't know how MUCH they read because they never comment. Hint hint. My brother sometimes mentions stuff to me verbally, but he rarely comments. Other people mention stuff in their emails once in a while, but not lately. And honestly, I've stopped directing people to come here because most of my posts are more fandom-related now than RL-related. (plus if they were really interested, they would bookmark me and I wouldn't have to prod them... that's what I did with the one RL friend I had here before I joined LJ *waves hi to havergal13*)

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaand another thing about filters... I would rather choose what I read, rather than be filtered out of someone's stuff because they assume I'm not interested. I can skim stuff if I have zero interest in it whatsoever, or if there's a spoiler alert for something I haven't read/seen, that's cool. Am I assuming too much to think that most people would also like that choice?

*shrugs* I dunno. I've only been cut from one person's f-list since I've been here, and I'm still not sure what I did to annoy her but it wasn't just me, she cut oodles of people. I assume that if you're sticking around you're at least moderately amused by my ramblings or you don't mind skipping the stuff that irks/bores you. I love you guys!!!! [/rant]

*shrugs* I basically just have a fic/SW filter, because a lot of my RL friends aren't into fandoms, or the ones that are into fandoms aren't into SW or slash, and I've gotten complaints from some of them. So I just find it easier to filter certain entries to the people I think might actually be interested in them.

Well, it looks like Obi and Ani (and possibly Qui, by extension) are getting into some angst-ridden plottage at the moment. Nothing particularly evil or doom-filled, alas.

Someday I want to go through and read the old stuff, except I guess I can't see the locked stuff on the dead journals cuz they can't friend me.

lol Really, the plots have never been that insane. Sort of. I suppose there was the whole Obi-suicide-y thing with Mace meditating on his naked body and Artoo shocking him back to life with his electric shock appendage #3...and you know, the rock. But I sooo want young!Obi. Mwa ha ha...ha.....ha. Er, the end.

Yay! See, you're cool, you can just skim over the rabid fangirly stuff if it gets to be annoying. And, um, yeah, don't look at my current icon up there. (here's a nice Nat one for you) You are a very good commenter. I give you an A+! No one comments on every single entry, that would be way too much, unless you were only reading one or two journals I guess. If I skimp on anything it tends to be stuff posted in communities if I don't know the poster and it doesn't strike me as "omgihavetoreadthisrightnow!"

I see a lot of your stuff, of course I don't know if I see it ALL but you post a lot :) I'm pretty confident I wouldn't cut someone "because they post too much" - how long does it take to scan over an entry and decide if you want to read it? I read every post on my f-list. Which isn't hard, there's only up to 10-15 new each day. I just don't always comment. So hey, don't filter me. ;) Filters are pretty useful for reading purposes if you have a huge f-list, like having a filter just for personal journals and having one just for communities, etc.

I know! I was really addicted when I first started! Kinda like Michele is now :) She says she's been staying up 'til 1 or 2am regularly. "Crack" is titled crack for more than one reason!!!

Yes, I used to bake a lot more than I do now. Now I consider making a Warm Delights baking! I used to bake cookies from scratch on Sundays and bring them in to the theatre... to show my appreciation for having Sundays off after eons of working Fri/Sat/Sun every weekend. How psychotic - go into work for fun on a day off!
