Been meaning to post that image for a few days now. YAY GRYFFINDOR!!!! 'k that's all I'll say about it cuz I don't want to be TOO annoying to the non-Gryffs/non-HiHers.

I'm feeling frustrated about the way the days rapidly fly by and I never seem to accomplish much. Still trying to balance real-life versus online-life, mainly. And failing! Should I blame sleep deprivation? I could, but I don't want to make excuses. Nor do I really feel like mentioning the details of RL stuff I've either neglected or messed up lately, but it's not anything TOO major.

So how do I balance everything? Do I become a rigid Nazi and schedule certain things at certain times and never deviate? Or do I figure out what's most important and cut out the rest?

I hate making decisions. I think it's a Pisces thing.

For now, I think I'll just try to quit with all the OMGIHAVETOGOJOINTHISCOMMUNITY-ness on LJ, and stick with what I have. (I've said this before, but this time I really, really mean it. Yeah) And I really do try to stay on top of my friends' entries, but if you've posted in a community or posted a fic or something I am probably not reading it right away. And, now that the craziness of December is over, I should be back to the no-internet-on-Sunday-nights thing (unless my bro makes other plans; we were on this Playstation kick for awhile and I want to start that up again now that he has Sundays off again) - I should be offline more than that but I can't seem to stay away. It's not just that I hate getting behind on stuff, it's just that this is where I prefer to be - specifically on LJ (I neglect other internet boards/email shamefully)

And when given the choice between fantasy and reality, I always choose fantasy. Hmmmmmm. I'm going to shut up before I go off on some psychoanalytical tangent now!

i know it is rough. i have alist of like 300 things to do this week yet here i am on LJ again i just can't stop myself. i think i'm going to have to pack up my computer soon cuz it is such a distraction. i was up for hours last night reading in the omg_lightsaber well now i see why you're always on there. that is so addictive and i'm not even a member. i love the kooky yoda and you know i am madly in love with angsty anakin. it seems OOC padme is pretty shallow as of right now all she seems to do is whip people. maybe when i get settled down it will still be available. yes fantasy is better than reality. oh well now i am finished with my excuse of "well i'm eating right now so just for a sec" and back to reality, which is using my left hand to paint the floor of my nasty cold basement.

Lumos 2006 is the third annual Harry Potter symposium (in the US, the UK and Canada have their own too). It's basically a symposium and convention for Harry Potter geeks! I'll be there, and maybe present a paper there. I sent a proposal for a presentation, so we'll see.
