Jun. 1st, 2007 08:20 amUgh - did I really say I would start pseudo-dieting again on June 1? Why, yes, yes I did. And since I said it, I have to at least try. I forgot to weigh myself this morning though. And it's Friday. That's two strikes against me. Boooo.
A coworker found this thing on the internet that says today is "National Leave Work Early" day. He made up a petition for all of us to sign. I hope it works! Although, my guess is that even if it does, they'll close the office after I've already gone, because I leave earlier than everyone else. Sooo not fair. Must slack to compensate.
This week's
thefridayfive seems awfully familiar, but I think we've just done bits of it here and there before. Grammar corrected in multiple places ^_^ My answers are kinda lame but here ya go:
1. You're holding a dinner party and can invite three famous people from the past or present -- who would they be? Hayden Christensen, Steve Finley, and Kevin Costner. Color me shallow.
2. You have the opportunity to question someone about something you've always wanted to know and receive a truthful answer -- what would your question be? I think I'd question my ex-fiance about certain puzzling things from our relationship... but that was eons ago and I've pretty much laid it to rest sooooooo I dunno. I fail at this question.
3. If you could change one thing in your life, what would it be? I'd be rich. Duh. Oh, do you mean things within my control? Too bad, you get a snarky answer.
4. If you could save the lives of other people by completing an act that would lead to your own death, would you do it? This is a LOST question! Yay! Um... maybe? I've generally felt that the lives of others are more worthwhile than my own. So if I could muster up the cajones, I think yeah, I would.
5. Would you commit murder if you knew you could get away with it? There's no one I despise enough to kill, fortunately. Even if there were, I don't think it's up to me to take his/her life.
