Jun. 28th, 2007 07:45 amI don't know if I mentioned that J left for the Navy shortly after he graduated. He's in boot camp now.
He wants letters. I thought in this day and age they'd let the recruits send emails instead of writing letters, it seems so archaic to send snail mail! But nope, at least for the time being, snail mail it is.
I can't remember the last time I hand-wrote a letter. I used to write them EVERY SINGLE DAY. I spent my college lecture classes writing them (and see where that got me? Pay attention in class, kids!). Of course, I could just type something up on the computer, but I want to hand-write it.
My dad came over yesterday and assembled the foundation of my Star Wars shrine. Yay! Now I just have to make room for it >.>
