"He's got too much of his father in him"
Mar. 16th, 2006 07:46 amMy boss is off for 3 days. Party in Wendy's office!!! Too bad I can't slack hardcore the whole time because we're entering the next payroll crunchtime.
My department's going to a spring training (baseball) game on the 28th - yay! Half a day off with pay, and the company's even buying us lunch. I'm in charge of it, so people think it was my idea... but it wasn't, I swear! Only one lady isn't going. ((M, if you still read my journal, I'll give you 3 guesses as to who it is, and the first 2 don't count)) She complained that everyone should be taken into consideration when planning these things. She doesn't like baseball, and it's too hot to be outside. Well sorrrrrrrreeee! It wasn't my doing - I told her to complain to her supervisor, which I'm sure she did. I know not everyone who's going likes baseball, but who cares? We'll do more talking and joking around than watching the game anyway. It's spring training, not a REAL game. And it's tradition out here for people to ditch work to go to the games. As for it being too hot - um, okay, if 80 degrees is too hot, you're living in the wrong state, hun.
Enough bitching. I just don't like when people take stuff out on me that isn't my doing.
Had an awkward conversation with A. yesterday. His life is so shitty, and mine is just... well, pretty good. I feel like I can't tell him about stupid trivial things, and he doesn't seem to want to talk much about what he's going through. So, we grow further apart.
Fixed: my computer - almost back to how it was before the little incident on Sunday
Not fixed: my vacuum cleaner - even Dad couldn't get it working, so it's going to the shop at lunchtime today.
And YAY for Livejournal awarding us more userpics based on length of paid time! I'm up to 104. I can add icons without deleting anything for a little while.
I guess that's enough babbling for now.

Date: 2009-10-01 03:29 am (UTC)I had to skip ahead to say that now when I see her Twitter updates get shipped over here, it confuses me for a second because she's now using Michele's Natalie icon. So I'm like "huh, I thought Michele was anti-Twitter?" and then I realize ohhhh it's just Liz!
