lumy12This morning when I got to work, I was accosted by a coworker trying to find a home for his friend's kitten. An 8-week-old black female. Won't I take her?
No no no no no, I replied, though he could tell I was weak. He said he was going to bring her in tomorrow and put her in my office so I could see how cute she was. And, naturally, I can't say no to a kitten in my face. That's how I got Gryffin.
Nooooooooooooooo! (yeah, I could have made that the title quote, huh)
He kept making little comments throughout the morning... I turned the tables and started attacking his reasons for not taking her himself.
So, problem solved - I am now the Designated Free Cat-Sitter for Life for this cat. A job I totally don't mind. Especially since it helped land this kitten a good home that is NOT my already-crowded-with-five-cats one.
*pats self on back*
