It was all worked out. My bro would tape the Suns game on his VCR, I would tape the season finale of Lost for him on mine, and I would watch the American Idol season finale on his second TV. Well, for some reason, my thing decided it would stop taping right after the Pre-Lost show, whatever that was. I made sure it was recording before I left. So I merrily watch AI next door (I took his least-favorite cat over there with me to keep me company, too, hehehe) - which, by the way, was the funnest show ever. GOD I wish I could do what they do. *sheds obligatory tear for Kat losing though* When I came back home I glanced at the setup - it wasn't fucking recording. Gaaaahhh! I hit "record" and checked the speed and it was all good, there was room on the tape too - I could tell from the counter where it had stopped, but I still don't know why it did. I have nothing timered except my daytime soap.

I'm so sorry, Stad! I haaaaaaaaaaaaaate when crap like this happens and I feel I should have been able to do something to prevent it.

I was hoping I'd see him this morning before I left for work but he wasn't there. I keep thinking how he was looking forward to coming home from work to watch Lost and how disappointed he must have been, due to my stupid freak thing. :( Does anyone know where I can download it illegally for him? ETA:Thanks, raven_annabelle, but - okayyyyy, I suck at computers. I've downloaded it twice in different formats but can't open the files. I downloaded some WinAce thing that was supposed to open it too and can't get it to open. GAAAH! It's on Torrent, which I know that he does use, maybe he can figure that out instead?

Brian is a recent convert. I AM glad we have On Demand now, I'd be screwed as far as watching both Lost AND Idol this year, unless I got a second TV.

Oh, I do love my On Demand feature on my cable system. I'm watching The Tudors from Showtime on there right now. Well, the first season. The second season isn't available unless I subscribe to Showtime. Not sure I'm going to do that just yet.

That is the only show I watch that IS NOT on The History Channel, History Internation, Discovery Channel or Nat Geo Channel. I don't watch network TV.

And, so far, I've only watched two episodes of the Tudors. That's why I haven't decided if I'm going to order Showtime to see season 2. I may lose interest before then.
