I'm going to apologize in advance to anyone I'm cranky to over the next couple days. Sleep deprivation = cranky Wendy

I'm kinda excited about the midnight showing of Pirates tomorrow. Thing is... I'm not going to have much time to nap beforehand, and definitely not afterward as I have to work so darn early on Friday. Also, I can't remember the last time I didn't fall asleep watching any movie that starts after, like, 10pm.

I fell asleep watching the midnight showing of The Phantom Menace, even. For shame! And I was with a buttload of people, too.

Is it dumb to stress about falling asleep during a movie? Yeah, probably.

sweet_panda, just... throw popcorn down my shirt if it looks like I'm nodding off or something.

ETA: Kinda random but my right ear is totally bright flaming red. Like, on the inside. Not from sunburn. WTF? OMG my ear's going to fall off.

ETA2: Stupid system's been down for over 2 hours now. Don't they know it's payroll time? If it doesn't come back up soon I'm going to kill younglings. In the meantime, I think it's time to write up three datapad entries.

Here's guessing you see about 10 frikkin minutes of the damn film. Unless it completely sucks, then you'll see the whole goddamn thing. Just go see it on Friday night like a normal person - oh no, can't do that, can't act like a responsible adult or anything. If you were a late night person, you could get away with it and enjoy the movie, then suffer through Friday with sleep deprivation, but come on, you know that's not you! You'll be the loudest snoozer in the theatre.

Hee! I think I had trouble with that ear in a later post as well. Or earlier. I remember one of my "year in review" things listed something like "MY EAR IS GONNA FALL OFF."

I don't have any problems INSIDE my ears, at least. I don't know why the one likes to get all red'n'hot from time to time.

That is weird. I wonder if it is tied in to blood pressure or something. The skin over your ear is very thin.
