Date: 2006-07-07 08:30 am (UTC)Another Brit group on the hip hop tip I've been into lately is the Streets. I heard "Stay Positive" awhile back and knew I had to check them out. Nothing else comes close to that track, but there are still plenty to enjoy.
And just to top off the musical education of my sis, since she doesn't remember anything, Blur would be that one band that did that one hit song in the 90's that goes "WOO HOO!" I think it was called "Song 2" but everyone just thought of it as the woo hoo song. And of course Blur has better songs than that, but not like normal radio would care about playing a decent variety or anything.

My personal opinion is that Coffee & TV, Countryhouse, Parklife, and (my all time favorite Blur song) The Universal are better but...they didn't get much playtime. Bah!
Also, I've run out of Natalie icons but since you'd probably prefer a chick to a dude (hah! I'm such a surfer...<.< okay maybe not), I'll post a chick.
