Today is the calm before the storm.

To anyone who cares about my schedule (probably omg!ls peeps only, heh): Tonight I won't be around much, if at all, due to the whole dinner'n'movie thing with Aaron. Tomorrow I'm going to work my ass off at one of our other offices, probably from 6am to... 7pm? Whenever the system kicks us out (it sucks having a parent company in a time zone 3 hours ahead... they think 10pm is a reasonable time to shut down the system, who cares about us out here? Waa waa waa). And I will not have internet access so... yeah. Plus see the part above about working my ass off. I earn my keep every so often!

It's funny how many people I've talked to who are like "Ooooooo I heard you're coming to help us on Friday, yay!" - like I'm this saviour or something. I don't even know what I'm doing. They'll have to show me things, and I won't be as fast as I was on the old system that I knew so well.

Then, since there most likely will still be an assload of work leftover from Friday, I will hopefully be working Saturday as well. Not sure how many hours. Hooray for overtime!

And "the boys" are staying at my house through Monday night. Last I heard we have dinner plans for Sunday, and I might spend the whole day with them on Sunday, I don't know. I think I'll be too LJ-starved by then and will just want to stay home. My friend hasn't called me so I guess she doesn't need her sleeper back yet; my new one is chillin' next door at my brother's house just waiting to be moved. I'm a horrible friend, I never call HER. But... well, she only calls me when she wants something, so I think that lessens my own horribleness. I don't call anyone, really. I hate the phone.

Hopefully thefridayfive gets posted tonight. That happens every so often. Er... wait, I might not be on tonight either. Gah! Why can't I just live online?

Also, *hugs!* and *cheers!* to elledwen for making me such shiny icons - I'm crying because I hate having to decide which ones to use. I'll probably just end up rotating them all out of one or two slots :)
