Sep. 8th, 2006 07:53 amI really like this week's
thefridayfive questions, but it would take me too much time to come up with perfect answers so... here's the imperfect version.
1. If you could pick your own theme song, what would it be? This is one that had an answer ten years ago but doesn't now. "If You Could Read my Mind" by Gordon Lightfoot was perfect for me. It's still my all-time favorite song EVAR, but it doesn't describe my current self. Nothing really does. *sigh*
2. Now be honest...if others had to pick a song that described you, what would they choose? I don't know. I'd like to use this question instead to point out that my buddy
indigo_elf and I once bonded over the fact that we both have songs named after us except with the name misspelled, in which we had stormy eyes. Woot! (Me: "Windy" by the Association; ~And Windy has stormy eyes~ / Her: "Sara" by Jefferson Starship; ~Storms are brewin' in your eyes~)
3. What song would be/was the first dance at your wedding? Not getting married kthxbye. No, I'll answer it still. I thought about this ten years ago when I was engaged. I don't think I ever settled on a song, though. I know it's cliche but I think "From This Moment" by Shania Twain (I think?) would be perfect.
4. What song gets stuck in your head most often? There doesn't seem to be one more than others. I hate when it's a commercial instead of a song though. Ick ick ick, I hate commercials. And to think, I used to consider going into the advertising biz!
5. What song would you want played at your funeral? "Goodbye my Friend" by Linda Ronstadt. That song makes me cry. I want everyone to have a good cry for me and then carry on happily afterwards. Remember this, people, as I don't have this written in my will. Actually, I have a will kit but haven't yet turned it into a real will. Heh.
