You know what failing at life is? Bringing work home, and then bringing at-home stuff to work. *facepalm*

The next 2 days will be pretty hectic for me. I can still post today, omg!ls'ers, but I'm going to try to only check in like once every half hour. I don't expect to be online tomorrow at all, at work or at home, unless by some miracle all the system problems get fixed (I'd bet $100 they won't).

A logical person might say, well why don't you just not post while you're at work? Because... see icon. It's crack.

Really, though, I know I won't be around tomorrow because it's Wendy Day on the first payroll of the month, which is always worse than the second payroll of the month now that I have this extra thingie to complete thanks to our systems sucking ass.

My period should be here by now but it's taking its damn sweet time. I've been bloated and blechy-feeling and slightly crampy for a couple days but down in the pants there's nothin' doin' yet. Let's get this over with, shall we? Whattaya waitin' for?

I fail at getting my holiday cards out this week. I'm going to do the international ones first and hopefully get those off, at least, in case they take forever.

My house looks like a cyclone hit it. But when you have four cats, you can get away with that. Everything is always the cats' fault! (faults?)

Back to the TMI for a sec - I've heard that sex can actually stimulate Aunt Flo to start flowin'. That sounds a bit like an old wives' tale to me. Probably it just takes a while for it to reach the outside - so an object that was way up inside would come out in need of towels but not necessarily be the trigger for it to start.

I hope no one's reading this while eating lunch or dinner or something.

I don't do letters. Just cards. I've done a Christmas letter 2 or 3 times but... this year I have nothing good to report so why bother? "Merry Christmas, my cat died and that sucks. How are you?"

i have always taken the pill cuz i have horrific cramps and otherwise i would get mine 10 days on, 10 days off.. so i never have to worry about the lateness, i get mine at the exact same time on a tuesday. maybe you could hang out with someone on theirs and yours would get matched up. another good suggestion is going on a roller coaster!!

Bleh. The pill is expensive and for someone who never ever ever ever ever ever ever has sex, it seems silly to go on it just to have regular periods. Plus the whole weight gain thing. But you're not fat, so... yeah, it's expensive.

Going on a roller coaster? I've heard that about girls living together though. And kevthejedi says that the females on his f-list seem to all get theirs at the same time. Ha!

yes it is totally true about synching up ! it happened all the time before i was on it, and now that i am, i will pull every girl friend and coworker around to match mine!! it is very expensive, $50 a month, which is a lot for someone who never ever ever has sex (.like me!) but the alternative for me is spending half my life rolling on the floor sobbing. like it is so bad without when i was in high school i would have to get taken out of school. plus it keeps you from having zits. i tried to quit cuz i figured it was a waste of money thinking i was cured after 10 yrs but no sir i suddenly looked like a before proactiv photo and that ol' aunt flo kept creeping back every week and a half! i dont know anything about weight gain. but yeah roller coasters shake it out!!
