Dec. 7th, 2006 09:37 pmThis week's
thefridayfive is about being famous and stuff.
1. If you could, would you be a movie star or a rock star? Which one, and why? A movie star. Seems like you could have a longer career and make more money. Plus, you know, perhaps meet and/or date certain actors. Heh. Too bad my acting career is limited to a play I did in 6th grade - in which I completely sucked, forgot my lines and everything. (did manage to ad lib okay for the most part, but I remember wanting to die)
2. Have you ever been in the media (TV, radio, papers)? Not really, just had a poem published in 2nd grade, along with my school picture, I think. My brother should answer this question. He's a local celebrity! Okay not really. But he'll know what I mean.
3. Do you know anyone who's been on a reality TV show? Nope. I think posting to a forum run by a contestant doesn't really count.
4. Have you ever met anyone famous? Yeah. I worked in a movie theatre that used to be the IT place for screenings, back in the day. I'm sure I don't remember everyone I've met, though many of them weren't hugely famous. The notables are Kevin Costner, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Chuck Norris, and a bunch of baseball players no one cares about because they're not Derek Jeter. Ewwww, Derek Jeter.
5. Who would play you in a movie? Egads, I have no clue. Someone plain and frumpy and boring.

MY YEAR IN REVIEW
(I "cheated" if you count skipping one that was a fridayfive entry and one that was a playground entry)
January: Actually went to a real-life party yesterday.
February: Tired tired tired.
March: First of all, regarding that so-called RAIN yesterday: It doesn't count as rain!
April: Whew - I couldn't get on LJ for over an hour this morning and thought maybe my work was getting smart and somehow banned the site or something (cuz other sites were working fine, it was just LJ).
May: So, what do I do when I'm at work and feel like RPing, but have tagged all my threads in both games?
June: I love my job.
July: I looooooooooooove my laptop!
August: I fail at Real Life.
September: I feel strange.
October: If you don't give a rat's patootie about baseball, feel free to skip the cut.
November: I'm not going to do the TMI post I mentioned earlier
December: Shameless pimpage!
Wow, I need to write longer first sentences. Except for April. I'm tempted to post more than one sentence to give some context but meh, that's cheating.
