Work
I've been asked to assist with training in one of our far-away offices - training that will ultimately result in me having less work. I'm horrible at teaching people things, and it's definitely out of my comfort zone, but I don't really have a good reason to say noother than I don't like being off the internet for a whole day. I'm sure I could get one of the other two people to drive as they're both male, so I'll get paid like 4 or 5 hours overtime to kick back in a car and enjoy the scenery, too. Ha!

I still haven't decided whether to apply to that one DOOL game I've been stalking. The players all seem far younger than myself, but when is that not the case? I'm an old hag. They suck. A lot. Pay up, people.
I also suck at collections, though.
I like how the one chick who bounced her $105 check to me said "It caused me to have all these fees and stuff" - like I'm supposed to feel sorry about that? What if your stupid mistake caused me to bounce checks? (It can't, because I have my accounts linked/overdraft protection, but still. Principle.)
I'm too "nice" to run a business. This will definitely be a side thing only, and probably scaled down this year as I'm just tired of people. But I do also have some really awesome customers and they make me not want to give it up. Plus I'm addicted to the products.
Sleep
Ohhhhh how I lust after thee. Early bedtime tonight I swear. Or maybe a nap after work. I have running around to do, though. *sigh*
Coffee
Just got my third cup. I usually only drink one but when I'm tired I'll go for more. For some reason, the first cup gets liquid (flavored) creamer and a sugar substitute packet like Splenda or Equal. All subsequent cups must have plain powdered creamer plus REGULAR sugar. I have no idea why. I think I'm just a freak.

I think I posted about this last year some time - about how the internet seems to make people ADDish (and I use that term loosely, as I'm not sure of the criteria and stuff) - I've noticed that lately I have a hard time concentrating on anything... well, long. I want to scan through and get to the bottom of the page quickly. I miss details in the middle, whereas I used to read slowly enough to savor such details. This is both internet and non-internet reading related, btw.

Awesome band. Their torrent took so long last night though that I didn't have time to get to Georgie. Why is my brother not leaving snarky comments about my country music kick? He hates country.

It took me forever to type this because I keep getting interrupted by this thing called work. People (well, three) are bitchy this morning, there must be something in the air. I can't decide whether I'm amused or annoyed by the "you guys took blah blah out of my check" bit - like I or "we" are out to get them. *snicker*
I'm going to shoot my phone. *lets everything go to voicemail*

Maybe have them pay before you deliver, or pay upon delivery so you're not out anything :(
People will take advantage in any situation they can. Even if they don't mean to. They can always rationalize it in some way so they're not the bad guy.
