Just a little something I have to get off my chest, after watching last night's Lost.

When the tortured chick said "We all have it in us to do what those children did to this cat" - I cringed. HELL NO we don't. I guess that irritated me more because it was a CAT. I started crying when she told that story. Animal abuse just disturbs me more than anything else in the world. Yes, even child abuse. Sorry, but that's how it is.

I get what she's saying - basically that we all have the capacity to be cruel. And to hurt others as revenge for being hurt by others ourselves. I just wish she wouldn't have worded it that way. And I really don't think I have it in me personally, but is that what everyone says?

I don't believe Sayid knew that woman, but it didn't seem like she would be lying either... maybe she went a bit crazy after what she'd gone through? I dunno. In the end they both got what they needed. And yes, I cried for Sayid too, I was already in weepy mode from the cat thing and it's PMS time, yay. Ohhhh I wanted to just give him a hug there.

I love Locke and his obsession with pushing buttons. Heeeeee! I KNEW there'd be all kinds of Locke bashing in the community. I wish I'd been up for watching it last night, I would have defended him... probably in ridiculous fashion.

Poor Sayid in last night's epi! I just wanted to hug him the entire time! And I understand why Locke pushed the button but I was like 'damnit' when he did and the place blew up because I was like 'oh shit, now they'll know where they are.' But I was all 'listen to Locke!' when he wanted them to follow the compass and Sayid was like 'hell no.' haha

Poor Locke, he can't do anything right anymore. "He used to be so badass, now he just fucks everything up" - ha ha. Sorta true, except I still think he's badass.

Sayid is awesome. Maybe I'll start looking at Lost icons again. There are SO MANY of them that I just can't be bothered to look at every single post.

i dont know what ur talking about but that show sounds awful. i would never do anything bad to a cat. i agree that i care more about animals too.

I remember you used to drive shelter dogs around back in Baltimore :)

And I don't know anyone who's watched Lost that doesn't like it. You'd have to watch it from the beginning, though.
