This week's
thefridayfive is about... senses, I guess? They didn't list a theme. Some of them sound awfully familiar, though.
1. If you had to choose being blind or deaf, what would you choose and why? Deaf. Definitely. I sure would miss my music but I could play it over in my mind (assuming I wasn't born deaf, because I suddenly get to choose). Really I'd have the hardest time giving up the computer, and that's no issue when you're deaf. (Yeah I'm sure they can adapt stuff for blind people to use too but whatever, just go with me here) And I couldn't do my job blind, but I could do it deaf. Hell, I hate the phone anyway. I bet more people would email and fax me rather than go through the TTY thingie or whatever it is that deaf people use... dang, can't remember the name. I've used it a few times for work before but that was eons ago.
2. What is the best smell? This changes. Currently it's still my lemon sugar shower gel.
3. Would you rather be hot or cold? I would say cold, but to me, cold is 70 degrees. So... hot, I guess. Ew, but I hate getting sweaty and headache-y. How 'bout cold but I'm allowed to bundle up under some blankets?
4. What's the worst feeling in the world? Feeling like the most pathetic creature who ever walked the Earth. -In a seriously bad way, not in a "whoa look what a pathetic fangirl I am" kind of way.
5. Would you rather have something hurt or something be itchy? I'll take itchy. I'd just keep dolloping lotion on it and scratching at it. I'd be annoyed but not in agony.
And now, a to-do list! Aaron might be coming down here this weekend, but that's no excuse to slack off. In fact I could probably put him to work on some of this stuff. Especially the ones preceded by "assemble." Hmmmm. ETA: Yep, he's on his way down now (Thurs. night) - he's been a bit sick but he says he's better. I'm so nice, I told him I'm gonna kick his ass if he wakes me up with his coughing (my bedroom is right next to the living room - it's a small house). He said if he has to cough he'll go sleep in my car in the garage. Awww. He'd do it, too. I feel mean.
