First of all, this icon has nothing to do with this post. I just had to show my bro I found one. I was whining about how I wanted a "WTF" icon of that Kate facial expression and lo and behold, the Icon Gods did provide! Good, because I have no idea how to get screencaps, nor do I really want to make icons in paint - I'd rather let other people make 'em for me to gank :)

-I just deleted an entire paragraph here. That bro of mine, he sure is smart about certain things. Thanks, Stad, for being the nagging voice in my head telling me to STFU.

Last night was my baseball team's home opener. The cameras panned over the stadium and I was like WHOA, OMG RED! Sooooo many people are embracing the new colors after bitching about it all winter, imagine that! ...but then, no, it's because they gave away free T-shirts to every single fan in attendance. Ha! They should do that every game. I would wear a free red one, but I ain't buying one. Sure, maybe eventually, but I'm telling you, NOTHING this year.

Three different people on my f-list wrote in their LJs about wanting to spend more time away from LJ and out in the real world. Is spring in the air or what?

I can't do my ironing because there's a cozy cat sleeping on the pile. *sage nod* If she moves at all in the next hour I'll do it while watching AI. Vote for my girl Jordin, everyone!

I recommend turning off AI. If ironing is the only other option and you can't get to the pile of clothes, I'd iron my hands rather than watching that film.

Actually, I meant American Idol :) which you might feel the same way about! Ha ha. The cat decided to move about halfway through so I was able to get it done.

It's Autumn here, which is my fave season and therefore I enjoy being out and about and making the most of it :). (I assume I'm one of the three you mentioned). I also simply have weird rhythms, I seem to be more in tune with the Northern rather than the Southern hemisphere :P.

Spring is in the air so much that... it's travelled down to you and infected you! Heh. I wish it were autumn here. Summers are brutal. But staying indoors all the time makes them survivable.

And forget what you think AI is; the real AI is Allen Iverson. So go watch a Nuggets game - it's great stuff. Much more compelling than watching random people do covers of tired old popsongs. The rule on doing a good cover in music is that you should take a great song and do it in your own style, which should be different from the original (heh, I actually like that Usher-like Swayze cover now). But on American Idol, let's have people cover popsongs by doing them in the style of ... popsongs. Wow - what brilliance. If you must watch crappy karaoke, at least go to a freakin bar and make an ass of yourself too.

If you're saying that cuz of the little bit you watched before Lost on the tape, that one sucked! That's why she got the boot! She only lasted so long because she's hawt. Actually, I voted for her the week that Simon said he couldn't remember her name because I felt sorry for her.

I heard you and Aaron last night, sorta... talking about niggers in space? Phil Hendrie stuff. Whatever it was sounded funny in my delirious half-asleep state.

And the deletion was actually this big long thing about Queer as Folk, which after I wrote it I realized I don't want to invite people to talk about it with me yet as most of them have seen more than I have and I don't want anything spoiled. I want icons but won't go looking for any myself, in fear of spoilers... I mean even if I see someone has a different hair style, something will be spoiled because I'll know if I haven't seen that style yet that that person's not leaving the show. And you're smart about staying out of stuff.

Yep, there she goes with a misleading comment again, making Aaron and I sound like racists. It was a bit about Phil Hendrie having a black character, Pastor William Rennick, preaching about what a waste the space program is, what NASA stands for, etc. Phil would've gotten killed nowadays if:

A. he hadn't retired last year
B. he were on a show with a wider national audience
and 3. he still used the N-word on his shows

He protected himself in recent years by having his offensive characters stay away from it, but I've got years of great clips downloaded. Oh the hilarity.
