Guess what I got in the interoffice mail at work today!

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Isn't that cool? I don't have any of these - but of course now I want to collect them all. *sigh* It's expensive being a Star Wars fan. Should I open it or not? That's always such a debate too. Maybe I'll make that a silly poll question later.

And the gal who sent this to me did so to "thank me for being so nice" - awwwww! I really don't deserve gifts for just doing my job, ya know? Totally made my day.

I'm sweating it out that her birthday present hasn't arrived yet. I ordered it three weeks ago, need by Friday to not be late.

*sweats*ETA: Got it today! The laws of LJ whining worked.
Whew, and this just in: it's hot as hell outside today.

Ha ha, I'm sure you have a gazillion toys I don't have. And that Anicon is great - always makes me giggle. Sometimes during the actual line in RotS ^_^

I need to send you another random star wars gift.
I haven't sent you anything in a very long time!

Being a Star Wars fan is expensive. Actually, I was reading this earlier, which is sadly, really really actually true for me at the moment:

"You know you're a Star Wars nerd when.....
You don't have any money to buy clothes or food, but you have a KICK ASS Star Wars collection."

lol - so true!

And nooooo you don't have to send me anything, I'm supposed to send YOU something, I just fail at it!

That's quite novel!
I can't remember the last star wars thing bought for me, probably something small for Christmas. I think the last thing I bought (excluding books) was my Master Relica's Obi Wan lightsaber - that would have been over 2 years ago now!

Horrors! Is your woman *gasp* NOT into Star Wars? Why are you still together if that's the case? Or do you just have so much it's hard to know what to get you? :)

She'll watch the films, but isn't 'into' star wars. It is difficult to know what to get me if it's star wars stuff, as even I don't know whether I have things already or not!
I'll have to get my entire collection out at some point and do some photos, it'll just take so long and I have other more important things to do (like work out excessively in a vain attempt to have a hot body on holiday)!

Ha ha, that's like me with my baseball cards. Aaron knows what I have better than I do.

You should set up a shrine, though. Next time you need to work on your bike, do the shrine instead. Yeah!

Date: 2007-08-14 03:42 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] kevthejedi.livejournal.com
The bike takes an hour, the shrine would take a weekend. Plus I don't have the space for it, and it takes too much cleaning. It's much easier having everything bagged up and stored away. When I have the room to make some vacuum sealed cabinets to keep everything nice I'll display it!

From: [identity profile] lumy12.livejournal.com
Oh, vacuum sealed, yes - my stuff collects dust :(

I better not ever move again, I don't want to pack up all my crap. Moving is such a pain in the ass. If I ever get rich I think I'll just fix up my house, not move. Yeah. Of course, I don't know HOW I'd get rich. If I revert to my original plan of marrying for money, I think that implies moving... bah.

I want to get rich, but I think it's going to involve a lucky lottery win. And then I'll move, and enhance my star wars collection!

My favorite thing is that you don't know when I steal one to re-sell, and keep all the money for myself. God bless naivety!

Damn it, once again, I've said too much.

You know, with all the time you could be spending on the internet, I think you do deserve gifts for doing your job nevertheless ;)

Those are really cute :D

From: [identity profile] lumy12.livejournal.com
Hehe - that's a good attitude! I'm never on the internet, really. *shifty look* This person is just awesome too. She makes my job easier. And she thinks *I'm* the nice one!

A couple weeks ago, someone from another office sent me 3 bags of Ghirardelli chocolate, disguised as work!

Date: 2007-08-14 03:42 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] ascendingflame.livejournal.com
*lol* Maybe you ARE the nice one!!! Just accept it! You ARE nice!!!!! *lol*

YAY for chocolates disguised as work :D

From: [identity profile] lumy12.livejournal.com
It's always the really nice ones that do this stuff though. They're nicer than me. But yeah, the chocolate thing was funny. Her boss delivered it to me personally and I tried not to look freaked out at the size of the envelope (it had a yucky label on it that implied much work!).

(yup, I got him specifically to reply to you!)

I have Obi Wan, Vader, Luke, Leia, Han, Chewie, C-3PO, R2, Jawa and Sand Person from the original movie. And they are OPEN! I also have SPidey & Green Goblin, Daredevil & Electra and Wolvie & Sabertooth!

Cause I am a huge dork like that!

DORK! :P
I have lots of open stuff from when I was a kid. Kids don't want stuff left in the packages! That's no fun! But now... I dunno. I'll probably just open it. I mean, it's not like I'm ever going to sell them someday.

Star Wait? What does it say? How annoying.

From: [identity profile] aaronisthebest.livejournal.com
I hate when a toy is packaged so it covers up the name of what it is called. I can figure out the top word, "Star", obviously. But its that second word that's got me hung up. I'm gonna go with the obvious guess and guess "Wait". So, congratulations on getting something from StarWait, I guess. It looks scary, with the alien pointing the end of his bloody skin-less arm at that frightened little girl with the gun in her hand. But, hey, whatever, to each their own.

Hey, this reminds me, I just thought of something. Did Steven Spielberg, who directed Star Wars, ever put out any line of products from that movie? Or, well, either of the two movies that he put out? Oh, man, he would have probably made a freaking killing on those toys. Can you imagine? If only he had me as a marketing genius, I could have made that guy tens of thousands of dollars, literally!

Star Wait, exactly. You're so smart.

You're a dork.

I think I have to say that on every comment you leave.

Do you like this picture? Or is it kinda gay? :P

Kinda gay? No, its awesome. It totally reminds me of girls.
Please, more half-naked guys, o please.

I was gonna say its not even close to Christmas, but who's the knobnugget that opened a Christmas store two days ago? Exactly.

If I had a dime for every time you called me a dork on livejournal so far, I'd have like $3.20.

Well, you ARE a dork!

Here, this one's REALLY gay.

I need to hook you up with some pictures. You could at least use my baseball one, that one's nice.
