Aug. 24th, 2007 10:01 pmAlmost forgot to do
thefridayfive. Shame on me!
Imagine you are on your deathbed. Recommend to those who remain in your life...
1) One book to read. Egads, how I will fail at picking "one" for these questions, methinks. My favorite book is Gone With the Wind by Margaret Mitchell, but I don't know that I'd recommend it to everyone. It kinda depends on the person, you know? And I would highly recommend Harry Potter to many, even the ones who scoff at kids' books, because they're just that enjoyable. Um... A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith and She's Come Undone by Wally Lamb are good ones too.
2) One movie to watch. Star Wars, all six. Yeah, I'm cheating on this one.
3) One food to eat. The Motherload at Claim Jumper. OMG so goooood. It's this ginormous chocolate cake and it's sooooooooooo gooooooood. Yes, it's that good. It'll make your toes curl.
4) One place to go. Las Vegas? Except most people in my life have already been there. Can I say England though I've not gone yet? Yeah, I have a feeling I might just like it over there.
5) One life lesson to leave behind.Life sucks and then you die. Erm... Cats are like potato chips; you can't have just one. *sage nod*
~
I actually got giddy at work today (and I wasn't even online alllllll day!). As in, couldn't-stop-giggling giddy. That doesn't happen to me often. *records it for posterity* And it was over this dumb comment G made about a certain kind of pizza being "creepy." Yeah, okay, you had to be there :P Free pizza ruuuuuuulez, yo.
Okay I'm going to sleep now before I wax even more stoopid.
