It's official - my next Star Wars marathon day is Friday, March 28. I requested the day off and when my boss saw the slip she panicked for a moment because the last time I took time off I went to England for 2 weeks! She was quite happy this was only one day. I wanted to do it on a Friday, and this date was the first one that was "excellent" (as opposed to "no way in hell can I take that day off" up to "good but not the greatest") for me to take off in terms of workload, interestingly enough. Two months away, though! Boooooo.

I've already had it in my mind that I'm due for one so I haven't been watching any Star Wars on cable recently, for I have to "starve" myself.

And OMG I'm ridiculously excited about the LOST premiere tonight.

I was just thinking about Star Wars and Buffy the other day, and was feeling sad that i'd watched them both TO DEATH. So much so that i haven't seen either in a while, despite the fact i could still pretty much recount them word-for-word :D.

SW i haven't seen since either very late 2004 or very early 2005 when a flatmate bought them on DVD. I only have them on VHS(!!) so once i finally decide what versions to go with i will have my very own marathon (though shorted than yours of course, as you know i'm an originals purist).

Hehe - yeah, mine will include the special versions of the OT and the 2 Clone Wars cartoons dvds. I'll start it around 6am, which most people think I'm crazy for. lol

I can't imagine going 3 years without seeing Star Wars!

I've only ever had someone else over once: sweet_panda (but she moved away). I have these ridiculous anal rules that must be followed on marathon day that I think would scare away most people. Ha!
