lumy12As usual, just some babbling, cuz I don't see any posts on my f-list to babble on ^_^
OMFG what an episode. I need to watch that one again. At first I was way confused but it made some modicum of sense by the end... I kind of don't get the "needing a constant" thing, though. For the psyche? I mean it makes sense for that, but wouldn't your brain get fried anyway if your subconscious is jumping around in time like that?
I cried at the end. DES AND PENNY! That was so sweet. She kept the same phone number for 8 years for him! Awwwww.
The dead rat almost made me cry too. >.> Damn my animal-sensitive-ness!
I wondered if they made a mistake trusting that (George? I think?) guy but he was toast soon enough so I guess I'm too suspicious. Heh.
Is all this supposed to tie into the fact that Desmond can predict "the future" - or at least, he could before this point in time, 12/24/04... maybe he's "cured" of that now or whatever? Interesting.
Oh, and at first, I was like HUH? Desmond made it off the island and ran off to join the army? Nice twist there, making us expect the flash forwards every episode now and then changing it up.
And did anyone else notice the thing with the numbers? 2.342, right? 23...42... though I don't know what "11" has to do with anything. Hmmmm.
