I'm back, did you miss me? Except for you, drowning_jedi. Hee, okay so I wasn't actually GONE-gone. Just haven't posted in over a week.

I will be gone-gone for part of this week, though (yay!)... but that information is classified on a need-to-know basis. Or if you're curious, just ask me.

I'm actually *gasp!* doing something SOCIAL tomorrow (it's a holiday and I don't have to WORK, yay!). T's having a barbecue. Mmmmmmmmmmm.

I've had 2 glasses of wine this evening. I'm a bit...happy.

It depends on the job and on if anyone actually sees you while you are doing said job and what color Blue it is. If the hand book doesn't say anything about it there's no problem. If there is a problem then they need to change the hand book! right?

My boss has one of those "bullseye" tattoos (to borrow a phrase from Wedding Crashers). You can't see it most of the time, but if she wears a shorter shirt sometimes you can. If THAT isn't an issue, why should blue nail polish ruffle any feathers?

Wow, nail polish color is an issue where you work? I'm in a corporate office with a business casual dress code, and ... I mean, they don't really want you to have pink hair or anything, but they really don't give two figs about what color your nails are. I've worked in a couple of similar environments, and I've honestly never heard of nail polish color being an issue.

OMG, America is so slow. Why is blue any different than pink or red or sparkles or whatever? I'm wearing blue right now. I know plenty of people that wear black to work in an office. I mean really, it's not like it's a mowhawk or anything. Or like...I dunno, wearing a...patent leather corset. Seems a bit weird that they'd be upset over the color nail polish.

THANK YOU. It seems pretty ridiculous to me. It didn't even occur to me that my nails might be "inappropriate for work" just because they're blue instead of pink. DUMB. Unless I get in trouble for it, though, I'm gonna keep wearing it (when I get to that color in the nail polish rotation. Hee, I'm anal). And actually, if I DO get in trouble for it, maybe I'll make a little complaint to HR.

I realise now how difficult it is to get photos of boobs. I've managed one pair so far, I'm willing to accept 6 different pairs instead of all in one photo now. If you count the pair I've already got then that leaves 5 pairs required!

I got all the pictures done that I can do (yours included!) but now I can't upload them because MY FUCKING COMPUTER IS HIDING THEM FROM ME. GRRRRRRRRRRRR.

I was going to make another post whining about it but then I thought, nah, I'll just unleash my whiny rage on Kev.

Since my computer crashed a month or so ago, I had to reinstall my camera stuff on there. And it used to do this same thing to me when I first started using it. I could find the pictures easily going in through the camera program itself, but to upload the pics, I need to find where on the comp they're being stored. And the path that LOOKS RIGHT AS RAIN is wrong and leads nowhere. It's SOOOOO FRUSTRATING!!!!

I tried to do a search. Search said "all files." Picked a name I had just used. Did it find anything for me? Nooooooooooo.

it depends on whether u can get away with it. i wouldve gotten called on it on any of my business casual jobs. but it doesnt seem fair cuz some people can get away with a little nose ring or something. or at my one job we would get in trouble for anything yet the one girl had like a different wacky colored braids every week and nobody said a word.

Road trip! To L.A., with my brother, to see R.E.M. in concert and to visit azurien. Much fun was had! Now back to reality. Shouldn't be too difficult, I suppose, was only gone 3 days :)

You have a point. Eye-blinding would be bad. My bro also pointed out that the blue stands out more because it's such a contrast to skin color. Meh, I'm gonna keep wearing it until I get in trouble. (not wearing it exclusively, but it'll go in my rotation of colors)

Well, visiting my friend was a definite plus! But yeah, there are a few bands I'd be willing to travel to see. I've been a lot more blase about seeing concerts in the past couple years but this was worth it!
