[Poll #1217095]

(yes I know they're not opposite concepts. Just go with it)

I believe in both, but ignorance can only take you so far...

You think? I dunno. I guess it depends on the subject.

It depends on the subject AND the person IMO. :)

I kind of believe in both but according to my charts, I have to go with the knowledge one.

Which charts? Are there more that we don't yet know about?

I told Deborah today that I'm gonna have to start calling her YOU because of something anal she does. Ask her!

I have many charts that I keep for research.

I'll have to ask her some time this weekend or possibly next week.

I equally love and loathe surprises.

So, yeah, knowledge is power.

The more you know, the better prepared you are when life throws you a curve ball.

Ignorance is never bliss. I hate being in the dark on things.

Well... I think ignorance can be bliss, at least until you find out...whatever! Then perhaps you'll just fall harder.

I'm still at work. And protesting that fact by slacking online :) Our beloved [livejournal.com profile] gizzi1213 got to go home at 2pm. NO FAIR!

I find that even though knowledge may be power, I still get looked down upon because I am female. When I tell people that I graduated two years early, people seem surprised, because it's usually boys who do that (and I have had the fact that I'm female mentioned more than three times in that aspect. I'm not just making an observation.)

So I have to go with ignorance is bliss, because I find before you find out how awful people truly are and how cruel they can really be, you're much happier in your ignorant world.

As long as you STAY ignorant, in that case!

Reason behind my answer: There is not much more I need to know in life to live happily. There are a great many things I wish I did not know that rot in the back of my mind.

I love that icon :)

And I know what you mean. Some things you can't un-learn, un-see, un-whatever.

I'm reading Darth Bane: Path to Destruction at the moment, so had to go with Power!

You're trying to read them in order, right? But that's a newer book so you had to go backwards? (or am I remembering this all wrong?)

I suppose...
Knowledge = Sith, Ignorance = Jedi.
Ha!

I do try to read the books in order, but I was way past old republic era, so I'm just reading it because I haven't! And I finished Legacy of the Force.

Might go for Young Jedi Knights next, or Legacy of the Jedi.

Arguably Knowledge is Jedi, Power is Sith. I wouldn't call either Ignorant, although I'd call both Arrogant.

The Jedi shunned the dark side, though. Ignoramuses!

I was reading Jedi Apprentice but I lost it when my computer crashed. However, I THINK I have it on this laptop somewhere too... I remember I couldn't read it here because some of the books were in Word and I couldn't get them to open on here. I should just buy them. Someday.

Peace is a lie, there is only passion. You'll like Darth Bane: Path to Destruction, was a good book.

Jedi Apprentice series by Jude Watson, or Jedi Apprentice by Kevin J Anderson?

From: [identity profile] lumy12.livejournal.com
Oh, I only know it by Jude Watson... I think? Except wasn't the first book written by someone else? Dunno, I only had illegal copies of it.

Yeah, Jude Watson did the scholastic series. They're quite good, but out of print, so difficult to find now. I got most of mine on ebay.

I got confused with the Jedi academy trilogy:-
Jedi Search
Dark Apprentice
Champions of the Force
