I haven't felt like doing thefridayfive lately or any other memes, really. But I always enjoy this one:

Go to your Calendar and find the first entry for each month of 2008. Post the first line of it in your journal, and that's your "Year In Review".

January:
...mostly dead journals.

February:
I need to remember that sometimes change, although generally despised by me and quite a lot of others as well, is a good thing.

March:
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!

April:
The Friday Five is too thinky for me again (I know, I'm lazy) so I'm skipping it and just posting a To Do List Of Doom instead!

May:
My brother's house got robbed again.

June:
Yay for R.E.M. lyrical post titles - mostly for my brother's amusement, and perhaps to get him to COMMENT MORE THAN ONCE IN A BLUE MOON.

July:
*voicepost* Hi guys, I'm in fangirl mode right now so I thought I'd just make a post...

August:
Some of you change your layout like it's underwear.

September:
Eeeeeeeee we should have gone to today's game!

October:
I'm feeling the itch to be productive this weekend mostly to distract myself from thinking about unpleasant things.

November:
Hooray for HBOEast! (I didn't have to wait 'til 9pm to watch)

December:
I made a gingerbread house today!

I skipped one that was a meme -- the Wendy rule is it has to be a non-meme post, at least the first sentence of it, anyway. Didn't skip the voicepost, though!
