I'm done with my 101 things list, you can view it here if you'd like. I out-of-order dated it so as not to spam your f-lists. I'll also link it in my profile for my own easy access to it for updates.
I did leave lots of blanks, but 1001 days is a loooooooong time, I know things will come up to fill the slots. Things I don't do or put off, not just "filler" things cuz that would be cheating. Hehe.
I've been on AIM less lately because my laptop is driving me bonkers... but I'm going to get it fixed soon (that's on the list!)... and then I still might not be around much because I HATE JANUARY. It's always a crappy emotastic month that hopefully keeping BUSY will help me survive a little better this time! And yes, I realize that my attitude towards it sucks and that could be part of my problem, but when it's consistent year after year it's hard to think this year will be any different.
ETA: To-do list for Fri. 1/2 -- Mon. 1/5/09
(yeah, I know, it's a few days later now so no one will see this, but I don't care)
-all 4 "Sat. morning" chores, even though they won't all take place Sat. morning!
-un-decorate house :(
-find homes for Christmas presents & boxes
-take down outside lights and DON'T BREAK ANY (I didn't break any lights but I broke Santa's ladder! Eep!)
-laundry
-change out litterboxes
-grocery store
-Borders
-write out slips
-deal with counter stuff
-demolish gingerbread house :(
-piano
-weed patrol (front) (Ack this one won't get done unless I go get some more weedkiller -- apparently the automatic sprayer won't work unless the darn thing is FULL)
-bubble bath
-1 RP log
-clean fountain
-exercise
-nails
-cook dinner Sat. or Sun. (how 'bout both!)
-clean gunk that some jerkoff sprayed on windshield!
-do kitty ornaments
-upload for C
-Radioshack

Date: 2008-12-30 04:24 am (UTC)I'm actually really, really looking forward to my birthday this year. I'm turning 25, so I get all the good stuff- lower car insurance rates, ability to check into all hotel rooms, etc LOL I'm especially psyched about the lower car insurance thing, haha.
I won't even ask why you don't like January. It's an overall sucky month. You should join the gym and be part of that crowd with me, we'll ignore January sucking like that!

Date: 2008-12-30 04:29 am (UTC)There's no one reason I don't like January, it's a combination of things... a quick summary of it would probably be "the January blahs." Stupid emo month. I'll never go to the gym when I can work out at home for free AND without an audience!

Date: 2008-12-30 05:06 am (UTC)Heh, actually I ended up angsting waaaaay more when I turned 29. I think I spent the whole year making peace with turning 30 because by the time 30 rolled around, I was fine!

Date: 2008-12-30 05:12 am (UTC)But now she's 34 and most likely going to be divorced (unless some miracle happens) and she wonders why she was in such a "hurry."
So... bottom line is, age is just a number! <3
