Writer's Block: Would you want a do-over?

The day: sure, why not? It just started a few minutes ago :P
The month: Hmmmm. Yes, I'd like to see if things would go differently with Flirty Guy if I'd been more this, less that, done this but not that... would it be like Groundhog Day? Start it over until you get it right? Or maybe until "he's just not that into you" sinks in permanently. At least then I wouldn't have these nagging doubts.
The year: Oh! Now that's interesting! Considering the tendon rupture happened mid-January... I could just happen to go see the doc on Jan. 1st. Okay, 2nd. But actually, it would take me a few days to get an appointment, so... maybe 2nd week of January. Dangerously close to when it happened. I don't think worker's comp would have approved the surgery without the rupture, though, because my fingers were working fine. Would I go into debt to correct this? I'd have to say no, I'd wait and let it rupture, but I would go to the doctor ASAP once it did, instead of waiting nearly 3 months to get around to it. (Speaking of which, part of the reason I waited was due to taking care of Pants... I would bring her to the vet on Jan. 2nd and maybe she'd have a better chance at survival with a month's head start?)
I think I want to answer
ansketil_rose's tag but not in this post. Maybe tomorrow if I'm feeling slack-y on a Friday afternoon.
