Who wouldn't find this joyful? Besides a few respondents on this post. And a few coworkers who have long commutes made extra long because of it... and the coworker with a leak in her office... huh, weren't they just flooding our roof with water a couple months ago to "test for leaks"? Guess THAT did a whole lot of good!

I mean, how can they predict how many you'll need? And you just make them up at the end of the year anyway, don't you?

The school board around here gives 3 snow days. It's tougher when dealing with finals. Usually, adding an extra day is easy b/c the Friday before finals is a no school day for the students. Anymore than that means they have to move finals week ahead.

LOL 8:30 is ungodly? There are days where I have 3 hours of work already under my belt by then! Hehehehe! Oh that's right, I only have 3 more payrolls until the clocks change back and I lose my extra hour of sleep on payroll days :(

The kitties here must be wussier than Tica. Well, 2 of them are brave enough to go out there... but why should they when they have a nice dry house to stay in?

Waiting for the weather... hee! Around 4 I told everyone in my little area that we needed to keep working until the rain stopped. Normally in AZ that's like... 5 minutes :) but today they just snorted.

Oh yeah, rain sucks at Faire time! It'll be gone by then and you'll have 100 degrees. LOL

i realized it's not really the rain i have a problem with but the metal gutters on the building next to ours. it's just this horrible water torture drip sound all day since last saturday..

"Rain" as you know it is a state of living. What you would call "rainy," we probably know as "air" or "overcast."
We're kind of like the inuits with their 5 damn words for snow. hehehe!

Rain just is. Drenched just is. Umbrellas don't matter because it comes at you from all sides. Only n00bs or foreigners even bother with them. At the end of the day, umbrella or not, your head is the driest part of ya.

It's only really like this in the valley. Eastern Oregon is pretty dry, they get "snow" and "sunshine." I've heard of these things.. but don't often see them myself LOL!
