An oldie but goodie! Tagged by [livejournal.com profile] remisims.

The rules:
1. People who have been tagged must write the answers on their blog and replace any question they dislike with a new, original question.
2. Tag eight people. Don't refuse to do that. Don't tag who tagged you.
Pfffft, I refuse! I shake my fist at you meme gods! Just fill it out if you feel like it :D

1. Make a list of 5 things that you can see without getting up:
A sleeping kitty, my Sims game taking forever to save what took me 2 seconds to do, a cereal sample box from this morning's paper, the M&M guy that cleans my computer screen, and my Star Wars shrine.

2. How do you style your hair?
I scrunch it with gel on the days I wash it, just comb the ends on the days I don't. I used to complain about my curly hair all the time, but it really IS easy to style!

3. What are you wearing now?
It's the weekend sooooo just underwear! Well, okay, it's winter, so also some very light sweat pants.

4. What's your occupation?
I'm just a shmo. Payroll.

5. What do you hear right now?
The air conditioner thingie on the roof squeaking because it's a tad bit windy.

6. Who was the last person you hugged?
Someone in K's family at Rachel's birthday party a week ago.

7. What is/was for dinner?
Probably something naughty because I'm hiatusing from the diet this weekend >.>

8. What did you do today?
I read the paper, listened to a podcast, cleaned the house half-assedly, and paid a couple bills. Currently I'm building in my Sims (taking breaks when it lags).

9. Dog person or cat person?
They don't call me the crazy DOG lady...

10. If you had to change your name, what would you change it to?
Kayla, for nostalgic reasons! Surname Mondragon because I just love that name.

11. What was the last thing that you bought?
A McDonald's #2 meal. See the part about hiatusing from the diet!

12. If you could afford to go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Back to England!

13. What's your favorite Lady Gaga song?
The only one I actually like is "Paparazzi."

14. What TV show are you most into right now?
Gleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

15. What are you doing this weekend?
Nothing social that I know of which means lots of relaxing, Simming... and I brought a little bit of work home, booo.

16. Which book are you reading at the moment?
Glee: The Beginning. Don't mock, my friend is "forcing" me to read it! It's really cute.

17. The last movie you've seen?
In the theatre, Black Swan. Otherwise... I think the last dvd was Australia.

18. What are you doing tomorrow?
This meme was not meant to be done on the weekend, methinks. See #15.

19. How many questions did you change in this meme?
Three! And what the heck happened to #20? Nineteen is not a respectable number of questions for a meme to have. Multiples of five are preferred.

A sleeping kitty,

Awwww. Which Kitty is it?

4. What's your occupation?
I'm just a shmo. Payroll.

I've often wondered, how does that work? I mean can payroll really be a job in itself? You must do other things as well. Mustn't you?

16. Which book are you reading at the moment?

Oh, if you want a recommendation, I'm re-reading The Last of the Duchess by Caroline Blackwood and if you've never read it, you should.
It's really weird and funny and there's a bit that'll make any Star Wars person really laugh. :D

Anakin! He's climbing up my back now as I type this. Hehe. Silly kitty.

For a week I'm really really busy, and then for a week I'm not. Heh. I do do other things: some HR, some accounting. I work more hours during my busy times and make it up by taking off during the other times or by writing fic if I have any ideas.

Re-reading? Must be good!

I sometimes write fic at work, in the sense of writing it in my head and then typing it up at home later. :D How handy it must be to have a computer. :P

Yeah, it was REALLY handy to also have LJ, but it's been so long that it's been blocked now, I'm cured of my addiction! I used to be really bad.

SHRUBBERY!

I saw a community post about fave moments from when you first started playing the game... which, you know, for me was only like a year ago... and up pop all these things I don't even know about. So now I'm playing Strangetown!

Aww I LOVE Strangetown! Its my fav 'hood!

I'm loving it right now too! I think the desert theme turned me off to it initially. Hee. I must not have ever played the Curious household because, YEAH, something interesting happens right away! I got all 3 boys alien-preggers :)

Someone said Olive is a serial killer... so I was hoping for a "kill" action with her, but nope, the worst I could get was "attack". Boo! But that house is BIZARRE, everyone can walk through walls? How can you imprison anyone and let them starve to death if they can walk through the walls? LOL

LOL I love the alien babies...some of them turn out really cute!

Ahh Sims can never actually "kill". That's all up to you! The people walking through the walls are ghosts. ;) You can get rid of them by deleting the MASSIVE graveyard in front of Olive's house. LOL but I leave a few, they're fun! All the colors you know mean different deaths, like drowning, satellite, fire, starvation, etc.

No the playables walk through the walls too! It's really weird! I changed my view to "walls up" just to be sure I wasn't imagining it and they TOTALLY do, just in that one house. I didn't know that about the colors, though, that's cool!

There must be a hack somewhere to get them to kill, cuz one of the stories I'm following has axe murderers... and machine guns... ([livejournal.com profile] gruglysims does it if you feel like reading!)

So today I made a sorta-copy of my house in Strangetown... and stuck another me-Sim there (there already was a "me" married to Hayden Christensen but that one is old now... maybe this me will get with one of their kids, lol), complete with cat food outside for stray pets. Ha!

Oh that is weird! I don't think I've experienced that. o.O

Yeah sounds like a hack, I can't do it though! LOL It gives me the creeps to kill a sim. XD

Awesome! I need to make a me sim and hook "me" up with Kyo from DIR EN GREY...LOL

Do you redesign the Maxis made houses? That's something I always do!

Remi says it's a glitch in that house with the curtains. Weird!

I tried the "death by flies" thing once and felt really guilty after >.> Someone should remind me these are just pixels on a screen. LOL anyhoo it's much kinder to send them to the bin where they can "live" their lives in limbo!

You should totally do that, and you can have lots of woohoo and babies together!

I do remodel them a bit sometimes but I try to keep things generally the same... except with the Curious house cuz WTF IS THAT SHIT. (okay so I didn't do a LOT to change it, but I had to fix the living area!)

Yeah, I have a tool/hack/thingermabob that lets you kill them off via different methods but I can hardly stand it!

LOL I have before, I'm on my...80 millionth reinstall.

I just finished redoing the Curious house and am working on the Smith house. I never leave them the same. >.>; I'm not OCD...really...

I haven't even played the Smiths yet, though my Sim self likes Jenny!

I've only done a couple reinstalls...before I learned how to back up properly. So I'm on my third "alternate universe" or whatever and this one's lasted the longest.

Why do I never get the Shrubbery want? No fair!

They're your typical family...well as typical as you can be with a retired pollination tech. >.>

Well, I thought I was all backed up this time but half my dls were missing and 98% of my houses are CC...that and I had lost my Free Time pack so it just didn't work out. LOL.

Aww get a Sim with money aspiration and you'll get all kinds of wants like that. xD

The lack of even numbers bugged me a bit too. :P

Ah, save times. What's worse is the (in my case) hour wait to get into the game.. 10 minute wait to open a lot.. Do one teensy weensy little thing, then quit. Then wait 10 minutes for the computer to regain consciousness and not freeze every three seconds. :) lol.

Oh, the 'walking through walls' in Olive's house is actually a glitch with the arches and the curtains. If you move the curtains away and just click on the arch, it will show the archway properly. You can put the curtains back again if you want.

I used to play with walls down, so I only noticed it fairly recently. :P

An hour! Oh that sucks, my usual wait time to start is half an hour if you count the 15 minutes it takes my desktop to turn on. If I end up rebooting it might take that long (sometimes it just will NOT.START.UP) And then if I rage-shutdown because it's frozen forever, I end up corrupting files :( I really need to learn to walk away from the computer and go punch my couch or something. LOL

Yeah loading lots takes a while too, which makes it a Rare Occurrence that anyone actually leaves their house! (unless I have other stuff I want to get done while I'm playing)

A glitch, how interesting! I like that they can walk through stuff (or appear to) so I'll leave it that way. I probably won't play that house much anyway since there's no kooky serial killer action happening. Hehe
