If anyone wonders how Jeremy's visit went... in a word, it was AWESOME. The only problem is now I miss him like crazy. Sigh.

This week's thefridayfive is about goals:

1. We are a third of the way through this year. How are those New Years Resolutions coming along? I didn't really make any, but the only goal I had at the beginning of the year was completely shot by the end of the first month. Thanks, Jeremy!

2. Have your goals for the year changed? YES.

3. When working on personal achievements, do you do better when left alone, or do you need a support network of friends/family? I feel like I'm supposed to say I need a support network, but... hmm. I tend to keep things to myself to avoid public failure; I flog myself for failure more than anyone else probably would anyway. Having people nag or judge me doesn't tend to motivate me.

4. Who is your best personal airbag? Me, myself, and I!

Out of the hundreds of artists available to shuffle amongst, I find it odd that there are two repeats up there. That's happened previously when I've shuffled, too. What gives, iTunes?

It would still be infinity.

Think of it this way... there exist a hotel where there are infinity rooms. The rooms are all filled with infinity number of people. There are no rooms at all. The person has to count every person in every room. Since the rooms do not exist, the person has to keep moving through this hotel with infinity rooms counting people. There are still an infinity amount of people in infinity rooms yet to be uncounted each time the person does not count a person in a room that does not exist. So the number is still infinity.

True, and of course the more songs you have by a particular artist, the greater the odds are that the shuffle will pick that one again... so, okay, for Madonna, fine, I have songs from 8 albums on here. But not Sting! Only 3. Sting = 26 songs, Madonna = 102 songs. Total songs in my iTunes = 11,036 whoa nelly! Thanks! What are the odds that it would pick the same artist twice there?!
