Soooooooo I see that many of my friends have stopped posting at some point in the 4 years I've been away.  I hope some of you are still lurking, though?  :D?

I haven't really been "away," just not over in this neck of the woods.  I think I want to wander through these woods again... make new friends, find new communities, perhaps update my icons so they're not all time warp-y (hmmm.....nahhh, I like a lot of 'em still).  I'm not sure how often I'll be posting, but I do know I won't be oversharing like I used to!

Anyone seen Beauty & the Beast?  I saw it for the second time yesterday -- we accidentally went to the sing-along version.  I even sang most of the songs -- there were only four people in the theatre, lol I imagine it's a little more lively when you have kids in there.  Fun random fact -- the "lumy" in my name comes from Lumiere, the candelabra.  It was actually a legit, albeit short-lived, RL nickname before I ever used it as an internet handle.

I thought I was being clever when I made my now-defunct hotmail address, combining lumiere with something more personal that flowed nicely together, so it was like an inside joke to myself.

I wanna go with you! I hope it's the sing-along too. The music is so loud it doesn't even matter if you can sing well or not, lol

I wonder if the comment counting thinger still works... I wonder how many Taylor icons you still have... ah, Snape reminds me -- did you see Fantastic Beasts? I kinda thought ALL HP fans would want to see it but some seem to be content knowing Harry's story and being done with that 'verse.

I saw Fantastic Beasts. It was a good movie except for the ending. It felt tacked on at the end so that they could foreshadow the next movie.

I was okay with that (would have liked Credence to make it, though), didn't care so much for the romances, that felt a little forced to me. Fandom likes Newt/Jacob, I could get behind that pairing...ha. Except it seems they're done with Jacob now?

The romance had to happen but I agree that it felt forced. I think they're moving pass Jacob and focusing on the Grindelwald story.

Yeah you've never minded that, have you -- haha. I'm not going to delete anything here, but I kind of cringe when I think of some of my entries. I much prefer to do the one-on-one thing for really personal shit now. I hope I didn't make any of my friends uncomfortable :\

Probably best if you're dragged to it by a female, lol. The music is actually so loud that it drowns out the singing for the most part. At least in my nearly-empty theatre!
