I love polls!

I must admit that it's fun to binge-read a complete, novel-length fic over a single weekend. I'm not very patient and can find the wait for updates to be downright agonizing. :P I used to be a lurker who never commented, until one day I read a fic that I enjoyed so much I just had to come out and say something, lol.

What will make me back out of a fic really fast is improper grammar, especially when it comes to dialogue. Punctuation errors drive me up the wall. It's the one thing I can't seem to get over, no matter how good the actual story may be.

I'd say that my main fandom right now is definitely Star Wars, although I do still read fic for Thor/The Avengers and a little Game of Thrones on the side. As far as searches go, I usually sort by pairing, and filter the results from there.

I admire people like you who can binge-read. It seems much more efficient. I can be uber-interested in a fic and still only read one chapter per day, if that. I might splurge and read two if it's a day off, lol. I'm like that with most TV shows too... GoT was an exception this season because I was anti until nearly the end of the season, then, thanks to my bro being persuasive, I marathoned for two days to get caught up for the finale. Why I can't seem to do it for fic, I don't know!

I prefer good grammar & stuff but it's not a deal-breaker for me. I'm surprised at how many people post things like "I know." He said. IT'S A COMMA AND A LOWER CASE LETTER THERE, PPL!
