Usually when I'm sad, I find solace in writing. Writing angst, particularly. This week, nothing that came out of my brain was any good, though. I had to settle for babbling in my journal (pen/paper kind).

Found an interesting new community - 10_cliche_fics. I'm just watching it for the Firefly fics right now.

I've toyed with the idea of joining all those "30+[word]" fic communities and then... not. I did ask to be waitlisted for Anakin at fanfic100, he's my favorite to write. Yes there'd probably be more Ani/Palpy than most people like if I did him. Heh. I wish they had some sort of activity requirement, perhaps only if someone expresses interest in claiming your claim? Some of those people haven't written in years. The person who has Hayden Christensen hasn't written a bloody thing. I did stumble across this cracky RP thing on her journal involving Anakin/Hayden that amused me, though.

I should write more for swficchallenge too. Don't know why I don't.

Anakin hasnt been claimed in fanfic50 as far as I can see.

I'm working on at least 4 different Corran Horn fics for fanfic100. i find it hard to write without a time limit. Withoutb some kind of deadline, I drag my feet and i lack the will power on my own, lol.

Ack! You're tempting me! Wow, they have a bunch of different tables you can use too. Neato. Are you going to claim something there? I don't see any Star Wars claims whatsoever! 'course they're way smaller than fanfic100 which I think was the first such community on LJ? (I'm waitlisted for Anakin there)

I know what you mean about the time limit. At first in swficchallenge I thought, gee, why can't we post stuff late? Which I see Kalina's not too strict about - she doesn't delete posts if people DO post late - but it really does help to have a deadline.

I don't know Corran Horn. I'm really slacking on my EU reading lately - but I've started with the Clone Wars era since that's my favorite era. I'm really afraid of post-RotJ stuff cuz I've heard so many bad things about it.

I might claim something on fanfic50 once I post a few fics for fanfic100. I don't want to join too many different fic communities because i might feel too pressured to finish anything I start.

I think a lot of people had problems with "The New Jedi Order" series because of all the shakes up and deaths. I enjoyed it. I'm going to try and start reading the new Legacy series that just started.
