I take back what I said...
Jan. 20th, 2005 08:51 pm... about committing to post here once a week. There's always stuff I can ramble about but I don't always find the time to do it. And now I am behind on emails - about 4 weeks behind, egads! So if I owe you an email, it's coming. I haven't forgotten.
It's not even 9:00 yet but I'm pretty tired, and I'm getting up at an ungodly hour tomorrow to do payroll. Call me psycho, but I love trying to get everything done faster than I did the time before... it's hard to do... and it depends on things that are often not in my control, so I guess it's a silly game to play with myself, but I can't help it. Thank God I can come in on Sunday to finish up at my leisure, as the whole mess is due Monday morning - that means I don't have to get up at an ungodly hour on MONDAY (which would be tough to do anyway! It's Monday!) And it's SUNDAY I will be in, not Saturday - due to Sunday counting as overtime and Saturday not, thanks to MLK. I know, I know, I should be thinking of the company and coming in on Saturday instead to make less money. How selfish of me. God forbid I jinx myself and get sick next week, thus voiding the overtime there as well. I'd say about half my office either is sick or has been sick in the past month, so that is a likely possibility. If I must get sick, please God let the payroll be done first. And while I'm at it - PLEASE GOD don't let our parent company get snowed in on Monday, thus voiding all my efforts, due to them staying home on account of a few snowflakes instead of doing our payroll! (they are teasing me that this may happen - I hope that's all it is, teasing)
Good night!

Date: 2008-07-13 12:13 am (UTC)I wonder how you Arizona people react to a few snowflakes. I would think, considering in an earlier comment you said 50 degrees was FREEZING, that if it got cold enough to SNOW, you'd close down the entire City of Phoenix!!!
