~~I got me a lawnmower~~I got me a lawnmower~~

Thanks to Mom and Dad deciding to give me a belated housewarming present. The house is very warm, I've lived in it for over a year and a half now... but I appreciate the unexpected gift! I was happy with the pushmower I've been using for my tiny yard, but that was just a loaner from my dad.

We assembled this thing last night (yes, I helped! It wasn't all Dad) and tested it to make sure it works. I'm amazed at how easy it is to use. It's electric so I don't have to worry about getting gas for it or putting oil in it. Dad installed an outlet out back for me too.

It looks like a giant ladybug! I should paint some spots on it to really girl it up.

The only problem may be how loud it is, in the summer I like to mow at 6am before it gets too hot - but, oh well, people should be waking up at 6 during the week anyway, the lazy fools. Heh.

If I had known you needed one, you could have had mine. It's almost new, and I've been looking for a home for it.

Of course, then you would have had to get it there. :)

Oh well - it probably would have cost a bazillion dollars to have it shipped anyway. I know someone who might want it, if you're selling for a good price they might even be willing to go get it? Is it electric, gas, or battery? Don't know if they have a preference but I wanted (and got) an electric one...
