"You're late," Obi-Wan grumbled as his former apprentice entered the briefing room.

"Sorry, Master," Anakin replied flippantly, hurrying over to assist Obi-Wan with the holoprojector. "I'm not that late, though. No one else is even supposed to be here for a while yet."

"You were visiting the Chancellor again, weren't you." Obi-Wan sounded nonchalant as he fiddled with the projector, averting his gaze from Anakin's.

The young Jedi studied his Master carefully. Obi-Wan was so skilled at shielding his emotions in the Force that it was difficult to read him sometimes. Did he detect a hint of jealousy in Obi-Wan's voice, or was he imagining it? "I was," he answered, equally nonchalant. "I know you don't like it, but I do enjoy spending time with him."

"You're no longer my Padawan. Your free time is your own; I can't keep you from doing as you please," Obi-Wan said coolly.

"Are you jealous?" Anakin asked playfully.

"Of course not," snapped Obi-Wan.

Lies! thought Anakin smugly. "Don't worry, I promise I won't start liking his company more than yours."

"I'm not worried," Obi-Wan said with exasperation. "Though I do wish you'd pay more attention to the chrono when we have an appointment. You know I can never seem to get this machine working properly."

Anakin smirked. "Here, allow me," he said, brushing his flesh hand accidentally-on-purpose over Obi-Wan's. Obi-Wan jerked his hand back as if scalded, but not before a delicious tingle shot through Anakin's body.

"So what did you and the Chancellor discuss today?" Obi-Wan inquired. He ran the "scalded" hand through his hair -- a bit nervously, Anakin thought. His calm façade was fading.

"Oh, I might have been giving him a little bit more detail from our adventures on Cato Neimoidia," Anakin replied with a grin.

Obi-Wan sighed. "That was a long time ago. Must you keep telling people about it?"

"Yes. Everyone needs to know you're not as perfect as you pretend to be, Master." Anakin proceeded to program the holoprojector for their presentation. The simple task did not even require half his attention, so he was able to glance up at Obi-Wan frequently while he worked.

His Master was muttering some sort of protest, but Anakin wasn't paying attention to his words. He was thinking about how much it amused him to make Obi-Wan uncomfortable and flustered. He wasn't sure why this should be so, as he cared about his Master a great deal and did truly desire to make him happy.

He could feel the Force becoming more sexually charged around them.

Anakin didn't bother to shield the lust swelling inside him. He stopped working and instead just stared at Obi-Wan, drinking in the sight of him, willing him to return his gaze. Force, he's gorgeous. And he doesn't even know it.

Obi-Wan finally looked up. "Anakin..." he began warningly.

Anakin did not heed the warning. He leaned forward swiftly and covered Obi-Wan's soft lips with his own. He heard a muffled protest, but it melted into a moan as he deepened the kiss, nearly upsetting the holoprojector in the process.

Obi-Wan pulled away. "Anakin, we can't do this here," he said, panting slightly.

"You're right. We can't. We should move over here," Anakin replied with a grin, taking a few steps to his right. With the equipment no longer between them, he pulled Obi-Wan close and resumed kissing him. His Master responded eagerly, pressing his body against Anakin's, his hands wandering over his shoulders, his back, his ass... every so often pulling back just slightly with a weak protest. That was the game: Obi-Wan protested, Anakin persisted. Eventually one gave in to the other.

Anakin knew they didn't have much time before the other Jedi were due to arrive. While he and Obi-Wan would be able to sense anyone approaching in the adjacent hallway, this few seconds' warning wouldn't give them enough time to fix their robes and release any unspent passion into the Force. They would have to make do with not getting naked.

Anakin deftly unbuckled Obi-Wan's belt and slid his hand beneath his pants. Obi-Wan groaned in anticipation, and his cock stiffened, but his words contradicted his body's reaction. "Anakin, stop it. We're in public!" he growled against his mouth.

"No we're not," Anakin cajoled, his hand edging further down his Master's pants. "There's no one else here."

"Anakin, I mean it!"

"If you really meant it, you'd be all the way across the room lecturing me by now," Anakin teased, capturing Obi-Wan's mouth in another insistent kiss. He maneuvered his underwear out of the way easily beneath his loose drawstring trousers. As his hand grasped his Master's rock-hard cock, he knew he had Obi-Wan this time. He kissed his way across his cheek to his ear, breathing hotly into it as his hand began pumping.

"Besides, you said it yourself, Master..." Anakin whispered, enjoying the quiet moans and the delightful shivering from the body he was pleasuring. "You can't keep me from doing as I please!"

LOL. ;) Guilt trip or not, this was terrific. One would never know that you usually despise this pairing, since you write it like someone who's been doing so for years. Characterizations were spot-on, and I loved the descriptions and dialogue. I demand more! Yes, aye, more!

Actually, when I first saw Anakin/Obi-Wan on my f-list, I wondered what sort of strange community I had accidentally signed up to. Then I saw your name.

Still, despite the ebil pairing, I quite liked this. The constant mentions of Palpatine probably helped;) And Anakin being evil and teasing Obi-Wan was quite hilarious. A fun little fic!

So I started reading this...not knowing what it was. I thought it was some dramatic ani-obi story.
I was too busy trying to ignore all the technical errors...like how he really WAS LATE, and everyone had already left. Oh, and why was he coming from the Chancellor's when he really was coming from talking with yoda? Whatever....

No, see, it's not supposed to be THAT scene. It's just a similar set-up. I've seen the movies enough times to not mess that up so badly!

And I don't 'ship Ani/Obi, that's why I put the bit about hell freezing over. I wrote it as a favor to a friend. It's probably the most popular pairing in fandom, but I much prefer Ani/Palpy, which probably isn't any less "freaky" to you. Heh.

The slash between the characters' names implies a romantic or sexual relationship, at least in my stuff (and lots of others). I do occasionally write Anakin/Padme, which I know you like. You don't have to read everything!

I have a fluffy Ani/Palpy story in the works. It just... kind of lacks any real plot or twist, unless I make it a 2-parter. But that's all I'll say about that. Hee!
