I'm glad there's a Geek Squad
Apr. 13th, 2005 07:54 pmI'm taking the plunge - I am finally upgrading from Windows 98. It was so cool when I got it 5 years ago, I can't believe it's already outdated. I'm tired of seeing that it's not compatible with stuff. That used to be Windows 3.1 or Windows 95, but now it's me! So I'm getting Windows XP Home Edition. I believe my system can handle it - not that I know what every specification means, or where to look on my computer to verify that it will work! But I will work backwards with that if it doesn't. I don't want to stay in the dark ages. Well, okay, I'm still using dial-up internet access - but I'm not quite ready to fork over an extra $20 a month or so for the luxury of high speed.
Next up - an iPod!
And then I really need to slow down and save money cuz my credit is getting a little out of control again. What can I say, I've been in a SHOPPING MOOD lately.
AFTER THIS I'M STOPPING - I SWEAR!

Dial UP???? Obviously you weren't as addicted to LJ then as now, I don't think you'd survive on dial up now!!!!
